I agree that Rajputs are extremely courageous be it men or women. However Rajput women apart from being brave and courageous were very respectful towards their husband. No matter their husband is doing right or wrong, they used to obey them.
Now the way Jodha talks to jalal seems highly unacceptable and somewhere we can't relate it to history.
For instance,
1. Jodha talks to jalal as if she is scolding him always. She keeps on saying "hume aapse ghrina hai". O come on lady!! he's emperor of India and u can't talk to him like that. I don't think real akbar would have tolerated such a behaviour.
2. Few days before when there was misunderstanding between J & J on letter thing. Jalal tries to be intimate with Jodha and Jodha pushes him and Jalal is all on floor. No this is something too much for a king.
He's a king not ur sewak!!!! 😡 How can u do this to an emperor and more importantly ur husband.
3. It's an old hindu ritual that women touch their husband's feet. Jodha has never done that. Chalo!! that's fine as it is not necessary as it was not prevalent among Mughals.
4. Whenever Jalal is talking to his courtiers abt any imp. matter, she comes there without even asking. Muslims (no offence) are quite particular that ladies shouldn't come before other men and if they come their face should be covered.
I am not against women raising their voice before their husband nor I believe that they should always be submissive to men. I also believe that women should have all the rights that a man has.The only thing I don't agree with is that we can't relate her behaviour with the women of that period.
