Thanks to the episodes of this last few days, I am already feeling ill - literally and figuratively - so please forgive for wanting to additionally throw up every now and then as I write this short piece today, especially whenever I get the memory of the precap scene!What in heaven was that precap? Jalal is swimming in the water with Jodha watching from a distance in the garden. Already Jodha has been warned by this Benazir that Jalal was due to visit her that night. I presume Jalal never eventually went to Benazir ... and was swimming away his frustration instead? Perhaps this Benazir then decided she must somehow get Jalal's attention and must have seen him in the water. With that huge body of hers, she made a dive - rather a tsunami-proportion splash! - as she fell into the water near Jalal. And Jalal then lifted that wet and weighty body in both arms, carrying her to shore, all happening as poor Jodha watched in agony ... and poor helpless me was wishing Jalal would break into two under that dead-weight!

Okay, for the rest it was a rather average episode. Tansen left with much ado about gold gifts not being as good as small gold chains with the OM pendant. Jalal seemed to see the value of his argument and took a shapath that he would win him back to the Mughal court one day, to which Tansen said he was not an object to be won.
Jodha was for a change in the bathtub today, fully clothed! And to add to my surprise, there was the new Moti as well, struggling with her dialogue and her lines. She was bad compared to our dear old Moti - although the speech she was given to say was good. I liked the way she told Jodha that it was "prem" that made people possessive - whether over her clothes or any person close to her!
Benazir then had a chat with Jodha when Jodha tried to remind her how dispensable "birds" are to Jalal ... and Benazir thought to herself that since husband and wife seemed to be at loggerheads, the husband seemed now available for the taking - as easy as Jodha's clothes were!
In the jail cell, Adham and Sharif actually came to blows that Maham was being a useless mom unable to use her position to help them. Maham on the other hand was seen crying in her room at her own helplessness to help Adham, but when Jalal popped in to check on her and gave her a hug, she sensed he was ripe for some needling himself and she reminded him of his own insults from Jodha.
He was left swearing revenge for this insult ... and I was left swearing revenge on the Creatives. I didn't need this episode, I didn't need this being a Friday when I have to wait two whole days for any more progress, and I didn't need to end the episode seeing Jalal carrying the Big Bird from the water! If I were Jodha, I'd book my one-way trip back to Amer pronto, or else leave with Tansen to his country to earn my living playing his tanpura for him!
If I am still alive by Monday, I'll do my Monday post as usual and I promise a longer, better one , provided the episode lives up to it. I am pinning my hopes on Rahim ... that he will piece together the torn letter from Jodha and show Jalal exactly what was written by Jodha and what was not. And I hope Rahim will do all this on Monday itself!
Incidentally I just saw a "spoiler" which I am afraid these days to believe, but still I have to place my hopes on something, so I am repeating it here ... the spoiler says Jalal will discover that Benazir is actually a Vishkanya! So does that mean he will go into his usual stealth-mode for the whole of next week and give everyone - including us - the feeling that he is not doing anything expcept ogling Benazir ... but beneath it all he may plotting to "catch the culprit"? Oh boy, not again!!!!
Meanwhile, over this weekend, I expect the forum to be one Diwan-e-Shok! I'd encourage everyone to please add your sorrows -and also your own yeches and bleches - here. Let's all be sick together!🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
