Emotional anger is exactly that high-end brand of anger. A bleeding heart and a bruised ego send all the adrenaline rushing 100 times over and all your feelings are directed to the brain . And the brain only acts on your instincts - it doesn't have the heart of your heart to tell you -"Hey! Maybe there is another way you could handle this,?"...Point being - YOUR HEART-THINKING STOPS and YOUR INSTINCT-THINKING HAS A FIELD DAY.

I am NOT blaming Jalaal for anything today. He was just being his signature grey side - thinking like a million others in his world that an eye for an eye is how this world runs. That causing hurt equalizes the hurt that you are feeling. That you deserve your pound of flesh no matter who and what you have to destroy. Yesterday, his ego, heart, pride and his whole persona as an individual was unintentionally shredded by Jodha. Jalaal is not a saint and he is doing what 99.99% people in his situation will do. He is giving REFLEX REVENGE to Jodha- Suffer what i suffered. Feel what i feel. Cry as i cried . Burn with me.

So, Mission Jodha-ko-maar-daalo was unleashed today. And Jalaal is one of those rare people who know your soft spots - HIT WHERE IT HURTS THE MOST. So, following are the bullet points of the bullets that Jalaal unleashed on Jodha on Day 1 of "Aaya mausam beizzati ka."

1. He attacked Jodha on her pride as a woman of flawless beauty. He sharply and clearly told her that all her beauty gets mitigated with the glow of the 1000s of women in his harem.

2. He told her that neither does he love her , nor is she fit to be loved.

3. He took away all the respect and honour that he had given Jodha by insulting her in front of his guardsmen when he literally threw her out of his Khwaabgah.

4. He preferred a 'nautch' girl over Jodha , his legally wedded queen wife. You understand the meaning of that , right? That for him, Jodha was below the standard of women who perform in his court or the ones he uses for pleasure. Khaas beghum ki jagah Abu Maali ke maal ko bithaaya. And the whole world saw it.

5. He told his wazeer-e-aaliya to tell Jodha to get lost from the court. So, a minister tells a Chief Queen to leave Diwaan-E-Khaas.

6. In the precap, Jalaal, more or less, rated Benazir's feet prettier and preferable over Jodha,

Pheww! Quite a list , hmm? Not really. Its not how many times Jalaal insulted Jodha that counts - its how much hurt ( am not talking about humiliation ) he caused Jodha to balance his own injuries and his apparently lost prestige.

Jalaal , somehow always had the capability of hurting Jodha , even when they were Israel-Palestine. He would say something and she would react - at least that time she could hide behind her blind arrogance and 'abstract self-worth' and howl GHRINAAA!... Now? And now?

Now, she keeps her pride aside and inspite of being thrown out of Jalaal's Khwaabgah in front of the guards, she swallows her arrogance and walks back in again. Because clarifying things with Jalaal is more important than throwing a Rajputana tantrum. She was under the impression that Jalaal had indeed come for 'fun' last night after she hears Maaham say that Jalaal is all smiles today morning. But its not ghrinaa that makes a comeback YET... its her hubby-wife anger that gives you a shocker when she says - "There was no love in your eyes for me!"...When Jalaal humiliates her by calling her a Snow Queen With Icy Beauty who will never be loved by him , tears spring up in her eyes... and she says nothing - just keeps looking at him...tears glittering like earthen lamp flames...What happened, Jodha? Scream. Shout. Howl that you hate him! He almost called you a you-know-what! Where is the infamous Rajputana anger?

NOWHERE.

Inspite of such humiliation, Jodha shows up at the Jashn in the court . Her Amer-ka-gulaab face drained of all life . She puts up a brave front but you can see Jalaal written all over her face. Jalaal shows up - all set to step-up "Aaya mausam beizzati ka" game. His "laal-ishq" with Jodha continues as his eyes hardly leave her face as Jodha goes through myriad of emotions - humiliation, anger , injury and all the adjectives that you can use to describe what a humiliated heart feels. For the first time, you see a fleeting cloud pass over Jodha's face when Jalaal asks Ruqqu to sit with him. Even after so much humiliation and showdown with Jalaal, Jodha gets up to sit with Jalaal - half due to her confidence in her position and half due to her overconfidence in Jalaal. ...and our darling boy gives the throne of a queen to a Kabul import. And the so-called badtameez, baddimaag, belagaam Maharani Jodha veils tears in brocades and sequins.

Shouldn't have Jodha left at the first sign of insult in front of family , friends and court members? Shouldn't she have gone to her Hojraa and sang songs of self-sympathy and written prose on Jalaal's cruelty? Going by Jodha's signature character , she should have... But things change, you know... when someone becomes THAT capable of hurting you. He attacked her pride, her honour, her worth as a woman, wife, queen and she felt the DISROBING OF HER HONOUR... but what was more prominent was not the feeling of being insulted... No. It was the impact of hurt that Jalaal had caused. Those tears in the Khwaabgah and at the end of the episode were not of pricked pride... they were of a heart that had been stung and A SNOW QUEEN WAS MELTING IN HER OWN TEARS.

Poor thing. Iss baar toh binaa galtee ke hi Jalaal ne sooli pe chadhaa diyaa. 😆...abhi se ittna mut ro, Jodha. Get hold of yourself and cry behind closed doors. Don't let the world know how you feel. Not the likes of Ruqqu and Maaham at least. Please!

Precap? Jodha is a woman of pride. She can't go , grab Jalaal's collar and scream - Explain your behaviour! ... But she can make an excuse that is basically a crybaby trying to sound brave and convey to him that how hurt she is. Awww...My baby chudail! Practice mein aa jaa. Toone Jalaal ko ek raat rulaaya hai , wo tumhe ek maheena rulaayega. 😆

Oh, BTW, Jalaal. I hope equating hurt with hurt , insult with insult has made you happy. You should be okay by the time Jodha bursts into tears or locks herself up in some high tower or even better runs away. Would that take away the 'burning' that you are feeling inside? Would that really make you feel better? It won't. Because if you really hated that chudail , you would have never gone and asked for that letter again. ...Anyway, the ball is in your court. Khelo Jalaal.,.. khelo. Bahot kum mauke milte hainn apni biwi ki sare-aam beizzati karne ke, Nahinn?...The problem is that all this will hit you too late... Not your fault. Pyaar karne waalon ki timing aksar ya to match nahin hotee , ya bahot kharaab hotee hai.

Don't fume over Jalaal's 'aaya mausam beizzati ka' antics. He is hurting on the inside and he wants Jodha to be in the same purgatory as him. After all, haven't JJ always been a relationship of EQUALS. 😉
