Absolute delight reading this post, Aunty . U ve superbly penned in words what we saw Rajat as Jalal brilliantly emoted yday 😊 . Hope we get to see more such lovely, touching epis.

My take on yday s epi would be that neither Ja or Jo were to blame for the circumstances they found themselves in. We can only blame MA for so cleverly manoeuvring the events to create this mess. But we as viewers know that this act of hers is a blessing in disguise for JaJo to realise their love for each other finally 😉 .

Jalal almost confessed his mohabbat for Jodha in not so many words. Was such a touching scene & my sympathies entirely with him. But here I wont blame Jo either. She s previously also been shown completely non perspicacious regarding love or the feelings connected to it & many others as well( in short, our Jo begum is a complete tubelight it seems except she s the only one to realise Jalal has a Dil ). So no surprise that this time also she failed to understand where Jalal was coming from. On the contrary I was pleasantly surprised by how sensitively she handled Jalal while he was confessing. This was what I wanted from her & she finally did it. Of course , didnt like the push that sent Jalal sprawling on the floor, but as it wasnt intentional am ok with it tho didn't like to see Jalal in that position 😭 .

Dunno what Ja wanted to talk to Ruq about but good that he once again refused to confide in MA 😃 . But MA seems to have most avenues covered in that she anticipates Jo trying to clarify to Ja about the letter contents & stopping her from meeting him with seemingly effective words. Let s see if Jo catches on to something fishy there.

Precap: Seems our tedha Jallu is already upto some plan seeing the smirk on seeing this Benazir gal. And acc to spoilers , he s gonna make Jo jealous thro this gal. Way to go, Shahenshah I ll say 😉 . High time that I want Jo working for her marriage & doing something to deserve Ja s love I ll say 😉 . Bahut bhaav dikha chuki hain woh to poor Ja & nakres bhi. So me want to see her stewing for a while. Meanie me 😆 . Hope to see some enjoyable epis with no more character assassinations hopefully 😊

Yesterday's episode left me with an unexplained feeling that I can't put in words. Neither happiness nor anger.

Yes both were wrong and both were right from their own point of view.

Being a woman forget about the centuries or generation I can't expect my husband come to my room totally tottering because of his consuming innumerable chalice of wine and I didn't even mind the push but what bothered me or irritated me was Jodha's 'come hither' look, smile and attitude and then turning 180 degrees around with her self righteous honorable disposition.

I understand where CV's are coming from, if Jalal was not imbibed to the brim he would not have poured his heart out to Jodha with so much of details and thus the more indignation on his male ego when ever he will be in retrospective mode about that scene. Yes the higher the expectations the bigger the blow as far as he is concerned. But if he was in a romantic frame of mind right from the beginning about the special night he shouldn't have consumed so much of alcohol in the first place. That is where I feel he went wrong. He had glorious seductive images of them both in his mind and he should have made sure he was sensible enough to fulfill them in reality.

And yes if Jodha would have maintained that arm's length in her full 'begum' attire the ambiance would have been different but that seductive night gown and her smiles and hand holding didn't create the feeling that she is only looking for friendship! Any man will be duped be it in their senses or not. I want to ask the CV's what is their explanation of 'friendship' in the first place, where do you draw the line, to what extent can 'friendship' go? Because I know for myself where the line of friendship ends but then again its subjective but it is also a fact it was 16th century and I don't now how royal begums thought and looked at friendship with their 'sauhar'. 😊 And did they ever wear something like that at night?

And yes I am grateful for no endless 'bhashans' and then followed by reprimands from Jodha. She was really graceful and way too softer than her usual self. So kudos for that. 👍🏼 She was concerned and regretful later as well.

I also wonder, back in those days it didn't matter what the woman wanted, it was announced either to the begum or to the several concubines that Shahensha would be visiting that particular night and irrespective of what the woman feels they would make sure the Shahensha is well satisfied when he left the following morning, then what exactly did our Balaji Jodha feel about that or what this Jalal would do when he is turned down?! In real history I am sure Akbar would not have tolerated this attitude from any angle from any begum.

But come what may for a change I want a royal ignorance from Jalal's end for Jodha and I want to see how she will react to his indifference. All along he has been attentive and respectful barring the initial and miscarriage tracks but now after being honored as one of his 'khaas begum' how will Jodha feel when she will be ignored by him. Will she feel the hurt and realize the depth of the alpha male ego or will she keep her nose and head held high like before? But this is a Balaji show and the heroine is always right so I will not expect much.

Somehow I feel Ruqaiya will support Jodha and will inform Jalal that he was wrong and will realize something is amiss in this whole scenario and might add two and two together about Maham as well because she will ask him who read him the letter knowing he can't read. But will she voice it to him, that is the million dollar question.

I am not fond of Benazir track but what does it matter what I want, its the CV's arena and they will portray what they want to. So just bring it on, will sit with a bowl of popcorn keeping my expectations at bay! 😊

As usual a fantastic analysis! Poetry to my eyes. 👏

am out of adjectives so resorting to smileys !
Monday was a high, Tuesday was a low. And surely Wednesday better not be a bore, Benazir benaqaab hogi! Am hooked inspite of my misgivings.
RT was MAGNIFICENT as Jalal. and felt that Paridhi complimented beautifully as Jodha. She portrayed exactly as the Director/CVs asked of her. And wonders!! a 16th century begum in an ensemble 😲
The one thing i did not like , was rather dissatisfied with, during the entire 'kaksh' scene was that when Jodha pushes Jalal and he falls down, i had anticipated her to rush to his side immediately. But alas she did not and that pause ,sadly brought her down a notch for me.

Hi Aunty , it goes without saying that your post is sheer pleasure to read !

First off, I despise this track. For me this us only slightly better than tasneem because I feel after all this, jalal will apologize again and proceed to spot another hunar in his begum that only he can see . Which I think is totally unnecessary .

I know he liked her immensely and was attracted of course but I didn't think it had reached the level where he would say I never bow down but I will to you or whatever the equivalent of that is . Now I'm wondering if that "joke" he played on ruq before they left for amer was not a joke at all. Does he suffer from some form of of mild Stockholm syndrome where he is in love with not his captor but his rescuer for she saves him single handedly after the tiger attack. Is it after the gift of understanding the awaam? I just don't understand when his feelings suddenly began to run so deep. Love is blind truly. And it sprung on him unnoticed. Here I was thinking she was a special friend after the birthday track and was waiting for a gradual build up. I don't know after this if the real confession will have the same impact as yesterday's .

As for jodha, I can't understand this unless I put on my 21st century woman thinking cap so that's how I will see it. Even then I don't really get her. When somebody confesses their love when you don't love them back especially a person that has been extremely accommodating of your every need you should feel a sense of guilt for not being to return that for love is a blessing. But she doesn't . What's worse is she leads him on although unintentionally and when she pushes him down proceeds with her love 101 class. Lady a man in love knows what love is. She is not wrong to not love him back , but she is wrong in the way she understands him. But then understanding has ever been her strength . She never realized that he bared his heart to her and she trampled all over it. Hopefully that's what she is trying to clear up the next day.
I just want jalal to ignore not even try to make her jealous because right now she is incapable of feeling deeply like he does. Even jealousy will be superficial . Jalal put some space between y'all .

Beautifully described every dialogue, gesture and emotion. Really brilliant emoting by Rajat.
Was really well scripted but as you say, even it beats me how Jodha cannot gauge the feelings oozing so explicitly from the shehenshah in his every dialogue. My heart really went out to poor Jalal.
Now, it is a matter of his very pride that is in stake after he has bared all. WIll have to see how he retaliates or deals with the pain.

Tripti,
Khushsh????
Kal ke ghaav pe marham lag gaye?

Royal - insult----you are just one among the many.
Jodha begum back to her angry mode even before he got back at her; yesterday's finesse looks more like done with the intent to mislead.

Jalal put her in place effortlessly.
Wish jalal stays royally aloof for some more time and jodha makes the effort to come around. She has to understand the value of his suraksha chakra and leniency and care and mohabbat.

Oh that I knew he would do & I am MOST PLEASED. High time he makes her realise that she cannot sit back & ask to be provided for.

But HELLO! She actually told him, "Aapki aankhon mein kal raatri LUST THAA ek stree ke liye."

Some-one kill me. KILL ME NOW. 😡
