Sorry Jaya but that scene made me laugh...I was not at all touched...Infact loved watching Ruku begging all these ladies gang to save her marriage...Did she remember the day when she had sided with MA against HB regarding BK issue...Did she ever thought that how unprotected Jsalal will be if BK is gone!
No it doesn't matter to her if Jalal is unprotected ...Or if Tasleem gets married to AK...Ruqiaya begum cared only for Ruqaiya...

Ok Ela, if I come to your point, is ruqaiya not one of Jalal's Praja and was it not his responsibility to protect her interest. Just to give insafi to one praja, was it right of him to give nainsafi to other? Surely when one's house is on fire, they will try to put off the fire and save their house first and not of the other house which might catch fire.
Forget about Ruqaiya being Jalal's wife, if she comes to the court seeking justice against her husband, claiming that her husband is trying to kill her to save some one though she is not the one who is trying to harm that other person, what will he do? Will he tell, your husband is doing a noble job of saving an innocents life, so in the process, if he even kills you, you should be proud of him!!!!!!!!!!

Yes whom else she will write? The one who gave her the promise that he will protect her through out her life was the one who is ready to give injustice to her, whom else she will write?

Yes, I dont understand why he has never sat her down and had that conversation with her. Is he waiting to see if he can someday reciprocate her feelings? Today she said without mincing words that she shunned everyone else because she didnt need anyone else but him. He cant avoid that much longer. As a friend he owes her that much, a conversation. As a king and her husband heowes her an explanation for asking her to make this sacrifice. She will do it even if grudgingly if he explains it to her. Divorce most likely will not happen, but explain the plan to her so to save her from this heartbreak.

When things are easy to reach without any effort, we take it for granted. Ruqu was there for Jalal always and without looking for. There was no need for him to convince her for anything and everything. So we realize the value of things which are readily available for us.

Jaya sometimes king has to take decision like this ...as he said misal kayam karne hi...she may be shattered but divorce hone hi nahi wala...n if she claims to be jalal's besties she should trust him ki has a plan
Having said that I'm with ele on this one..I found the scene funny. .kya pakaya man!!!
I think only salima begum cared for the letter. .rukaya used it as tinke ka sahara to blackmail jalal emotionally

Nice post =)
That scene was very touching! Was almost in tears, seriously. A very well executed scene.
I know for sure Jalal has a masterplan and this divorce thing part of it,the divorce wont really happen.
He's just trying to show impracticality of the enforcement of the law backwards.

I kno that wud seem like the most sensible thing to do.. But jalal knows ruqaiyya.. He knows that along with her heart her ego has been hurt too.. So if he tells her his actual plans, she wud b gloating over ny1 who tries to put her down.. Her act of crying nd evrythng wud b not so convincing.. Nd his plan wud b there fr all to see.. Nd wud b a flop show evn b4 it reaches halfway towards the conclusion..!! 😛 So I dunno.. I dont find it that insensitive on Jalal's part.. Rather he's being smart.. Nd long sighted.. If u see wat I mean..! 😉

After today's final letter scene, Ruqaiya's love for Jalal( to the exclusion of everyone else, everything else in her life) can hardly be questioned. Her love for her position is only an accessory. Not the main.

If after this, Ruqaiya is made to look silly or villainous to highlight Jo, it would only be the fault of the makers. Hope the precap was just a bout of anger to be forgotten after the talaaq is cancelled.
Loved the scene and the performances. Hard to say who outdid whom.

True Jodha was not wrong in defending her nor in bringing Tasneem's interest. At the same time, Ruqu was not wrong in accusing her as she can believe only what she saw. Even if the divorce doesn't happen (for sure it will not), is it not true that, if Praja didn't come in between, Jalal would have truly divorced her?

True that if the question comes to the fact that Jalal had to give divorce to Jodha, Ruqu would not have talked in favor of Jodha, but still that doesn't mean she doesn't love Jalal.

Since he was not sure of the outcome, he was unable to explain that Ruqaiya that he will save her and it was necessary for Jalal to keep the Adham from re planning the counter attack. So it was necessary to keep her in dark but I truly believe in her love for Jalal. That is what I am telling here.

well the scene was indeed heart touching. rajat-lavina did a really gud job. cuming to jalal's decisions sumtimes a king has to take hard decisions for people's welfare. jalal very well knows tht his plan wont backfire, bcoz people r bound to protest against his idea of mass "talaq". jalal will never leave ruquiya bcoz he had always cared for her. even when jalal-jodha will be totally with each other, still he wont ignore ruquiya thts for sure. even during the fake preggo track he didnt revealed his plans to anyone, not even to maham i.e. his "badi ammi". he is doing the same here. actually jalal had always cared about ruquiya, even when he was about to die after the tiger attack the 1st name he took was of ruquiya's. i know ruquiya is in pain, but jalal is also going through the same pain. i also always believed tht her love towards jalal is true, bcoz we had seen ruquiya slapped hoshiyar, so tht proved she cares for jalal, but jalal also cares for her.
