Her principles are jalal. Her love, her life is jalal. So why is that so hard to get ?

Jo also burnt his gift , she also refused to convert pretty much when jalals throne was stake, so why ruks not lash out ?

She has no idea Jo is supporting her because she hasn't seen it . And she is vulnerable enough to believe ma.
I hold jalal responsible for her state today . If he has plan he needs to tell her .

Having said that , she is on her way to becoming another villain.
Real ruqaiya please go haunt EK . Creative liberties have their limit too . Please don't make her a vamp

Stole my thoughts Ariel.
In Jodha's shoes on religion issue Ruqaiya would have converted to any religion or given up anything for the sake of Jalal. I see Paro of Devdas in Ruqaiya. Since childhood Jalal has been her playmate, friend, confidant, support, love, life, everything. Her position is just an accessory that she is proud to own but it is certainly not above the man. Given a choice between the two, she would have certainly chosen Jalal.
Even when Jalal was fighting death, after the tiger attack Ruqaiya said she would be the first to go after him. If power meant everything to her, she would be, as Babur's paternal granddaughter THE power after Jalal. But she never cared for it.
Hope the makers don't make Jo-Ja relation grow at the expense of Ja-Ruqs.

Yes, she loves Jalal. Even if she is horrendously egoistic, crazily arrogant she has some good qualities too , the icing being, her love for Jalal . Possessive, smothering yet with a slight distance. She loves him. Jalal the Emperor. Because you cannot seperate the Man from the Emperor. 😳

What makes Jodha and Ruqaiyya different...
Jodha will fall for the man in him and not the emperor

hahaha Sandhya, I just mentioned the tiger fiasco in meghana's thread.

You are spot on, she will sacrifice religion for him too. Her love for him doesnt have any boundaries. Fortunately or unfortunately he is her identity. and that means giving up everything about herself. This is why Jalal should see the advantage and importance of this even if cant reciprocate, she is his staunchest supporter. And loves him the most, even if that means sacrificing her love for him and being unloved always. I love her story for childhood love for him , that is undying. I love your Paro comparison . And I feel this is why she will in time come around to accept that he loves Jo because she wants him to shine and him to be happy even ahead of her. She wont accept their relationship because of Jodha, she will give it her blessing because she will do it for Jalal and his happiness.

The way the story is structured if Jalal chooses one over the other, or goes ahead with Jo without Ruqs blessing it will cease to be epic to me.

But tomorrow Ruks might be destroyed by the CVs and we will be banging our heads 😆 Hope her destruction if its coming is short lived.

Yes that's what Jodha will like to imagine. But for Jodha, Jalal is quite like a project. One that she has to "rectify" and bring back from the Dark Side. She is in her own way attached to the Emperor and there isnt anything wrong in that.

Mainly because with Jalal, the two identities are INSEPERABLE!!!
