Now this was very interesting - Jodha's angst has finally found words - she is upset becoz she became the object used by her family and Jalal for political purpose.
Now the Q is to unravel what actually happened.
Jalal wants to bring all the Indian states under the Mughal banner. To achieve this he has also been making his military campaigns. But he had always tried to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. With many, he had worked out treaties also.
So we come to Rajputana where one of the main provinces is Amer. Jalal (as pe Ekta Maiyya) is intrigued by Jodha and is keen to knw of Amer. Even as he plans on how to get Amer under his banner with least loss Bairam Khan happens - As in BK dies and so the Emperor gets sidetracked with protecting BK's family.
Now this is the time that Sujamal comes to the Mughals to join hands to get his birth right. And here is the twist - Shariffudin wants to be a bigger player that what he already is. He also wants Jodha who had intrigued even the Emperor - one upmanship on the part of Shariffudin I think ('I have what the Emperor wants' - He may have even thought of using Jodha for furthering his ambitions too had he got her I think - The man could have done anything!!!)
So Shariffudin uses Sujamal and attacks Amer and kidnaps the sons of the king - all in the name of the Emperor btw - and then starts his arm-twisting tactics hoping Raja Bharmal will come to the negotiating table.
Abb yahan destiny played her game - Abb do achche insaanon ke saath kismet bura kaise hone deti bhala - so Raja Bharmal contacts Chugtai Khan to help him negotiate with Jalal. And Chugtai Khan looks upon Jodha as a daughter and has an inkling of Shariffudin's mal-intentions and is totally commited to Jalal.
Chugtai Khan must have planned this alliance of Jodha with Jalal even before he left Amer with Bharmal to meet Jalal. And if we see those epis again - Jalal did not knw the full background of the Amer tale. Neither did Bharmal tell him the whole story nor did Chugtai Khan tell Jalal of his doubts about Shariffudin.
So here we have CK proposing the alliance and getting Bharmal to agree and Jalal agreeing as this gets the Amer faction on his side directly without Shariffudin's involvement (astute Emperor)
Jodha has no clue of either Shariffudin's actions or of CK's act - for her this was all done by the Jallad Emperor!!!

Abb CK ne Jodha-Jalal ka rishta kyun propose kiya iska khulasa pata nahin hoga ya nahin and whether Jodha will get to know of all these events also we dont knw but at least one point is clear - CK knew that Jodha would be safest with Jalal and Amer's best interest would be in this alliance as this would keep Shariffudin under check - warna woh cheapu Amer waalon ko aur Jodha ko aur pareshaan kar sakta tha and as he was already Jalal's BIL he could have used that to take revenge too!!!
What ever the reason but this was definitely Destiny at work here!!! Wonder if either Jalal and Jodha will ever get to knw!!!
