when jalal asked her about gayatri mantr...i loved the way jodha looked shocked...but didnt understand y...was it bcos of jalal s proximity or question???

She was very charmed & amused pleased when he took the aarti 😆

The same way she was very surprised that he showed interest in learning the meaning because he is Mughal!! I bet that's what Jodha was thinking 😆

It was a bit of an over-shock if you ask me..itni bhi shock hone ki zaroorat nahin thee...i think the director didn't explain the scene properly.😆

he's asked her the significance of hindu rituals many-a-time...

but, yes it was because he asked her about gayatri mantra..I think she expected him to be disinterested...seeing his aarthi taking without even her offering and then the mantra-meaning-asking, she got shocked!
