When it came to Bakshi, Jalal was so overcome with grief. I think the reason he told Bakshi to stay away from him, the reason he tells Jodha not to discuss the matter anymore, is because he's in turmoil when Bakshi Bano's deed is brought to his attention. Her face will surely remind him of the betrayal, and Jodha's constant requests to forgive Bakshi only make the pain worse. I think Jalal is trying to employ the "Out of sight, out of mind," principle, but it's proving to be difficult.

His reaction to Jodha's hand on his shoulder, looked like surprise initially, and then more grief. Isn't it true that when you are near tears, trying to hold back your emotions, and someone tries to comfort you, you end up letting those emotions spill over? That's what it looked like to me. Jodha said what she had to and kept her hand on him as emotional support. When she left, Jalal looked back, like he was looking for some more of that selfless caring. I'm not sure if he has a conscious desire for it but it definitely struck a chord in his heart, and perhaps this small gesture will continue to ring true.
I have to rewatch the after she left part...I didn't catch that bit I guess!😳

Jalal's expression at the end of the episode, when he realizes Jodha is a part of the little treasure hunt, is to die for! He looked so happy, I would even say happier than he did throughout this entire episode. That smile is contagious!

And then his expression in the precap was so cute! A little mischief, mixed with childish anticipation! I've never seen that expression on Jalal before and Rajat, as per usual, pulled it off flawlessly!
You've actually described this better than anyone else here has I think 😳

Oh yes BB would probably be the logical guess here, but I'm hoping for something more creative!

I truly honestly hope that its nothing to do with BB 😕 but I'm not pinning my hopes on it...

That's the problem with online links...sometimes bits get cut off...and with this serial's super duper editing..we don't know if the scene was cut-off or was meant to be that way 😆

A very nice episode. I don't want to keep ranting on jodha but I wish she wouldn't force this forgiveness on Jalal. HB is right in time he will come around this betrayal just happened a few days ago the wounds are still so fresh. I am not picking on Jodha, I like that her heart is in the place, but she is going about it in the wrong way with this constant jaap of please forgive her, please forgive her, please forgive her. What worries me more is that BB is going to do it again. Can we trust this weak character Jodha should consider the consequences. I wish they showed Jodha thinking on BB repentance, without that she is only setting up Jalal for another fall.

Ok nice innovative Birthday episode. I cracked up laughing at Rahim's cuteness. This child is too precious, I guess he is like his adoptive father always taken by Jodha. I can't help go hahaaa on Jodha at struggling to think of a gift, she was so haughty on her bday serves her right now she is the same boat. I am glad she is thinking hard, shows how important it is to her that she matches or tops him when it comes to gifts. Jodha has to be jodha but atleast her pride is for the right reasons.

There were spoilers around about some kind of a well. Why do I get the feeling it has something to do with Jodha gift. See jodha knows and she even taunted him that he is unloved, his beloved sister betrays him, now she knows how alone and sad he is. The difference is now it matters to her that he is sad, before she could give too hoots about it. Maybe her gift to him is to show him that he is the most loved, doesn't matter how many fall in betrayal around him but in place hundreds more shall rise. She will show him that he doesn't have to shut out the world to be great king, but let people in let them love you and when you love them back you will know you are not alone and will never be. Jodha and Jalal go on a road trip where she takes him to a village where his services are needed in building a well, after that the kindness and wishes bestowed on him will show him how loved he is.

Jalal soul said this bday changed his life, theme in the show so far has been jalal is alone and unloved, what can change the course of his life if this defining ideology is disproved to him and empowers him in turn to open his heart. So much so he comes home to forgive Bakshi Bano and start on a new journey with Jodha. Not the one we have seen so far where it has been mostly of physical attraction or teasing or taunting, but a journey of love where he is now forever bound to her because she is the one to make him realize there is a such thing called love, it is between brother and sister, husband and wife, mother and son, and emperor and his people.

todays epi ideed was different from all the days of the track gng on we got something delightful the soldier scene was nice n the solo monologue scene of akbar was spectacular !

n then jalal ruk interaction so cute jalal al l smiley n haveing fun solvin puzzles !

n the twist of rahim haha led him to jodha now lets see wat jodha will give xcited i am !

I had that cut problem too ..both in kite scene and this scene

Did you notice that when Jodha kept her hand on his shoulder & when she withdrew it, Jalal had a surprised expression on his face & looked sideways at his shoulder?

Just for a few seconds.. Beautifully done!

So was his really mischievous expression! In the precap 😆

He was looking like he was getting ready to pull a prank on her 😆.

Oh no Jalal, atleast not today 😆
