First of all you are making Jalal's character so much larger than life.
He is uneducated but he is what we call today "street smart". He is extremely intelligent, has super observation, can take decisions on the spot, thinks way ahead of time about the consequences of his decisions, a man of word and honor, has a strong sense of humor, liberal and understanding, caring and loving when he wants to be, a big flirt and a tease, lover of talents and yet he is proud and egoistic, can be ruthless when he wants to be, is ambitious, can be selfish and cruel, has deep emotions of pain and agony...he is a complete package with several layers. 😃👍🏼
Loved seeing the sleuth Jalal today in finding the clue of Hakim. He has such a keen observation and presence of mind to zero down on the exact location and position of the letter left by Hakim. And Salima begum is a treat to watch. She shared the responsibility equally with Jalal in solving this case.
Ok now its clear Bakshi Bano is nothing but a pawn in Sharif's hand. The CV's are creating such an illusion about this mysterious enemy and yet the spoiler news have really spoiled it for them. We all know the lady in burkha is Bakshi and the man is Sharif. So Sharif is the one who has planned all this to remove Jodha from Jalal's life with help of Bakshi. Poor Hakim, she got killed in between all this enmity. Now I will wait to see when Sharif and Bakshi is exposed what will be Jalal's reaction and decision! And what will be Bakshi's fate in Sharif's hand! I can't even sympathize with this woman.
From Adham and Maham's conversation it can be construed very clearly that Adka Khan's days are numbered. Once this track is over Adham Khan will slay Adka Khan to clear his acts if deceit and treachery regarding misuse of power and money. A whole new saga will open with Maham being pained due to Adham's demise and her decision for revenge on Jalal and Jodha by separating them again with some misunderstanding.
Now to Jalal and Jodha! CV's you better get your acts straight about Jodha and her attitude and nature. I am extremely disappointed today with her thought process, temperament and dialogues. You are butchering her character.
She hates Jalal - fine, she snubs him left, right and center - ok fine, she disrespects him - ok, she can't stand him in sight - perfect, she wants to curse him - again fine, she doesn't want anything to do with - ok...I will give her all this leverage and understand where she is coming from and how a woman feels under such circumstances where she has been called a murderer before and now feels she has been forced upon and landed with this unwanted pregnancy but, yes a big BUT, all said and done no mother and I mean NO MOM will ever say of deserting their newborn and leave because she hates the dad! What nonsense was that? She may not be pregnant and frankly I don't care but being a woman and that too a princess coming from a loving and caring family she is talking about leaving her newborn to her husband and go!!!??? What are you guys thinking when you are writing such dialogues? You are slaying her character...period! No matter what she feels about this pregnancy or how she conceived or how painful it is for her ego and honor and self-respect to even think about this child but no mother again will be so harsh to their own flesh and blood. Sorry CV's, that was below the belt.
I would have applauded if she had told Jalal point blank that she will leave with the baby and once he or she is grown up then he/she can come back to him as his rightful heir. I would have loved it if she had argued with him about the names specially for the daughter and suggested some other name. That would have been a cute 'nok-jhok'. Jalal being a man is more moved about this non-existing child than Jodha here. She seemed to have no compassion at all. Buckle up CV's, some things you have to rectify urgently.
I understand her pain, how violated and betrayed she feels, how angry and hurt she must be with all the accusations heaped on her and then with this unwanted pregnancy without her permission or will...all can be huge and her anger directed to Jalal is totally valid but her attitude towards this baby is unjustifiable.
And Jalal's lovely monologues today was awesome and we got a first hand glimpse about the void he feels about not having a child resurfaced again. He kept his calm and patience the whole way he walked and talked with Jodha but he is a man afterall...he couldn't take the rubbing and snubbing of Jodha anymore. 😃 His teasing side and ego did flare at the end. He rubbed it on Jodha about her desire and passion and want and need for him that night and poor Jodha, all defensive and humiliated retorted back calling him a liar! Beta Jalal, you don't even know what soup you have landed yourself in to. When Jodha will come to know he was teasing her she will not only call him a liar and a cheap but will make a pulp of him for calling her a wanton for his affection and love. Just watch out! 😃
I am eagerly waiting for another monologue from Jalal CV's, please show us that tomorrow. When Jodha leaves him there calling him a liar and he kept looking at her retreating back I want to see another monologue from him saying 'Jodha begum aaj nahi par kabhi na kabhi ye aap zaroor karengi. aap mujhe aapne aagosh mein lekar mohabbat karengi apne chahat se, apki khud ki marzi se, aur yeh dekhne ke liye khud Khuda gawa honge'. I want to see a challenge from Jalal on this regard promising to himself. Please CV's, pretty please. Will cross my fingers and toes. 😃
And CV's thanks for proving my guess correct about Jalal's reason in not revealing anything to Jodha. In my thread yesterday with abhi786 I was discussing this, Jalal will keep this non-pregnancy a secret from Jodha and the rest of the family till the culprit is caught and you all exactly did that. Good one!
And I know why Jalal didn't tell any thing to Jodha. Jodha is very righteous, every thing is black and white to her, she doesn't tread on gray path neither does she believe there is one and when she sees any one adopting the gray path she thinks of that person as 'dusht and kutil' with 'teri baatein aur teri soch'. She would never have agreed to go and participate in the 'jashn' if she came to know that she is not pregnant. She would have refused to carry on the charade specially when this celebration is planned by Ammijaan, she would have said it will be disrespecting Ammijaan and hurting her if she is kept in the dark and a fake celebration is carried on. Jalal knows her inside out and knew exactly what her reaction would have been.
One thing I can't understand what quandary are you guys in about Ruqaiya begum. CV's you are going to and fro with Ruq. Once she is upright and all nice and good and second moment she is all jealous, insecure and vindictive. But one thing is for certain she literally LOVES Jalal to the core, she does everything possible for Jalal even when she doesn't want to in her heart of hearts. Her major drawback is her ego and her pride in her position of begum-e-khaas. She can't see any one become more powerful than her and anyone becoming more close to Jalal.
Same with Maham, one time you are showing Maham all righteous fighting with Adham and teaching him some lessons on life and morals and values and next episode you show her plotting with Adham.
Any way will not complain much about these side line characters, my main concern is for Jalal and Jodha, as long as they are consistent I am happy. 😊
