Jalal stood by his window, his eyes blazed with anger. He felt the betrayal every night after the day he had been fooled terribly.
One whole month had passed by but he couldn't remove the anger and thoughts from his heart and mind. He had felt the pain and anguish to his core.
He badly wanted to forget about that sugar-coated acidic part of his life, but he failed to do so..He failed miserably!
Everything was so perfect, everything was slowly falling in place..He had slowly started believing in his heart.. when suddenly she had killed the very of his budding trust.

The wind blew with its fierceness, crying on his situation. The dark night resembled a whole lot to his current life. He and the darkness had so much in common now.
The light and gleam were an opposite to his life. A lone tear rolled down his eyes, but he soon wiped it away. He didnt want to waste even a tear for that woman.
His teeth gritted with untold hatred for her.
He wanted to forget about her, her sinful actions, her betrayal. The more he wanted to remove her from his thoughts and heart, the more he remembered her.

Why did you do this to me Jodha? Why? His mind automatically shifted to the moments they had spent with each other. How they had started to understand each other,
how inspite of hating each other they still tried to spend more time with each other..How they both had learnt their true selves after understanding the other one..
How He had for the first time in his life, felt the real happiness when she had held his hand and put it on her heart. How both of them had slowly got addicted to each
others' company and would spend time either teasing the other one or having some friendly conversations. The hatred between them had gradually vanished and
even its trails couldn't be found. The space which the hatred left behind had to be filled with something else..And it didnt take long for these two to realise what
it was!

Jalal and Jodha loved each other a lot. Jalal had totally changed for her. He had become the kindest and wisest of all kings. Not only did Jodha change his personal life
but also had raised his image in the praja by helping him in taking fair and wise decisions. Jalal had found his true soulmate! But..But..One day his soul was shaken
when he heard something ! As he headed for her room to do his daily duty to put up the sindoor on her forehead, he was shaken!! When he reached the door, he heard..

Jodha laughed - Moti! Moti! Moti! Kuch aisa karo ki humein aur hasi na aye! Moti humara pet has has kar dukh raha hai! Humein yakeen nahi hota ke itni
vaibhavshali Sultanat ke Shahenshah itne bevakoof bhi ho sakte hain.. Hahahaha!!

Moti too laughed and said - Ab bas bhi karo Jodha! Humse bhi hasi nahi ruk rahi hai.. tum kab tak yeh khel khelogi? Tumhe andaza bhi hai, ke is khel mein
tumne apni izzat ki bhi parvah nahi ki!

Jodha turned serious - Moti! Badla tabhi pura hota hai jab usse utni hi gehrai se liya jaye.. Humein to us insaan ki dasha par hasi aati hai..jo humse prem karne laga hai..
Hahah.. Unhe kya lagta hai..Hum un jaise swarthi aur kutil vyakti se prem karenge..hahaha.. Kabhi nahi..Her voice turned loud and stern..Hum to keval unse badla lena chahte hain.. unhe apne prem jaal mei faaskar unka tiraskaar karna chahte hain...Unki aankhon mein vo dard dekhna chahte hain..Jo unhone aaj tak humein aur humare
Amer ko diya tha...Haha..Moti.. Asli Maza to tab ayega..jab hum unhe yeh kahenge..ki Shahenshah..Ye prem kya hota hai? Aur humnein aapse kab prem kiya??
Us waqt jo unki aankhon mein hum dekhenge..Us se hi humein shanti milegi.. Chahe uske baad vo humein jaan se hi kyon na maar daalein! And she laughed hysterically!

Jalal's soul was shaken! A bombshell fell upon him! Did he just hear what she said? Was it a dream? No! It was truth! A truth beyond bitterness! He fell on his knees,
his eyes struggling to decide, whether to cry on his fate or to fire out the anger which was storming inside him like a cyclone.

The voice of falling was loud enough to alert Jodha and Moti! Both of them looked at the door..all hell shocked! Jodha's eyes filled with fear.
She ran to him and said - Shahenshah! Kya hua? Humnein kuch nahi kaha...Vo hum to bas mazak kar rahe the... Aapne kuch suna to nahi...She laughed evilly!

As He suddenly came out of his thoughts!! Nooo!! He shouted! I can't believe this! Why did you do this to me Jodha? His heart bled and he went to his bed to sleep
another peaceless and horrifying night!

From that day on, He had not visited her. He was so affected by her betrayal, that He lost himself in the darkest of the dark. He had decided at the exact moment of
betrayal, that he wont let this dirty game of hers affect him and he would turn to his old self! Giving her death would be too easy! Let her live alone in the chamber for whole of her remaining life!
But, in reality, he was vulnerably slashed by her words. He felt so fragile. A literal push to him and he would break into pieces!

But, after all, He was the Shahenshah! He continued to take wise and perfect decisions in the court.
He had turned to his old self and would visit Ruqaiya daily, as she was the perfect woman for him, He now firmly believed! He would never touch her! He asked this
question to himself a million times that why he hesitated to touch Ruqaiya! But his conscience wouldn't budge. Something stopped him from touching her.
Somewhere in his heart, he felt, he would betray Jodha if he touched Ruqaiya.. His life had become so complex, both in its quantity and quality, that he literally
started to lose his inner self!

The night passed by with its as usual haunting silence.

*Morning*

He woke up from his terrible sleep! Today he was supposed to directly go to Diwaan-e-Khaas for some important matters!
But he decided, he would visit Ruqaiya first and then would do his daily routine works.

He gloomily headed for her room and reached the door!

Ruqaiya was chatting with Hoshiyar! She knew Jalal would not come today! She was totally oblivious to Jalal standing at the door.

Ruqaiya enacted - Jodha Begum! Hum nahi bata sakte ke hum kitne khush hain aapko aur Shahenshah ko ek saath dekh kar! Sach kahein to ab jaakar
humein asli Jalal nazar aayen hain! Hum to Allah se yahi dua karenge ke aapke aur Jalal ke pyaar ko kabhi kisi ki nazar na lage. Lekin Jodha Begum..
Allah khair kare..humnein aapki aur Jalal ki kundli kal Peer baba ko dikhai thi..aur unhone jo humein bataya..Hum aapse kaise kahein..

Now Ruqaiya continued to enact but in crying tone - Peer Baba ne humein bataya ke aapke grah-nakshaktra mein bahut bada dosh hai! Jalal ko aapke grahon ki chaal se
Khatra hai! Humein jaise hi ye baat maloom hui hum to seedha aapke paas chale aye!

Hoshiyar enacted Jodha and looked at Ruqaiya with shock and fear - Ye aap kya keh rahi hain Ruqaiya Begum? Hum Shahenshah se bahut prem karte hain! Unhe humare karan kaisa khatra ho sakta hai?

Ruqaiya continued her enacting - Jee Jodha Begum ye sach hai! Humein bhi bahut ajeeb laga tha lekin yahi sach hai! Hum jaante hain ki Jalal in baaton par yakeen nahi karte, agar hum unse jaakar kehte to vo is baat ko
taal dete! Lekin hum aur aap dono hi unki Begum hain! Humara dil vichlit ho utha Jodha Begum!

Hoshiyar enacting with tears - Humein bataiye Ruqaiya begum ki puri baat kya hai?

Ruqaiya - Peer Baba ne kaha hai ke agar aap Jalal ke aas paas rahengi to unki jaan ko khatra hai! Lekin..Jodha Begum..ye sirf 2-3 mahinon ki baat hai..
Uske baad koi grah aur chaal ka koi dosh nahi hai.. Uske baad aap dono ka pyaar amar ho jayega... Bas hum yahi kehne aye the.. Bataiye humein kya aap hum
dono ke Shauhar ke liye itna karengi?

Hoshiyar - Lekin ruqaiya Begum..naa to vo humare bina ek pal jee pate hain..Na hum unke bina..Unke bina rehna humse humari saasein khich lene jaisa hai..
Lekin phir bhi..hum unke liye khatra nahi banna chahte! Un par hum koi aanch nahi aane denge! Aur humare karan to kabhi bhi nahi! Aap bataiye humein kya karna hoga!

Ruqaiya enacted further - To suniye Jodha Begum! Aapko Jaan bujhkar Shahenshah ke saamne kuch aisa karna hoga ke vo aapse kuch samay ke liye door ho jayein..
Baad mein to hum dono jaakar unhe khud sach bata denge..par abhi ke liye aapko unhe apne aapse dur karna hoga!

Hoshiyar laughed uncontrollably - Bas Huzoor! Humse aur nataunki nahi hogi! Hahaha! Iske baad to hum sab jaante hi hain ki Jodha Begum humare vajah se
kaise bevakoof bani! Hahaha!

Ruqaiya laughed nefariously and said - Wahi to Hoshiyar! Koi humare Jalal ko humse cheene, ye humein bardasht nahi! Aakhir Humnein Us Jodha begum ko sabak sikha hi diya!
Tum to jaanti hi ho ki Jalal ne us din ke baad se us Jodha Begum ka chehra bhi nahi dekha..Hahahaha...Us Jodha ko kya pata ki yeh 2-3 mahinon ki baat nahi...zindagi bhar ki baat hai! Hun! Humse humare Jalal ko cheene chali thi! Aakhir ek chota sa natak kiya aur Jalal humare paas aa gaye! Ya Allah! Shukriya!

Both of them giggled into their victory!

Jalal stood at the gate, all stunned!! He felt as if someone has just slashed him into million pieces! He felt Backstabbed! His heart could feel a kinfe stabbing it
mercilessly! Not only Ruqaiya had played a dirty and over-the-line game with him and Jodha, but also Jodha had suffered more than him in this trap" He realised!
His whole world turned upside down with this conversation between Ruqaiya and Hoshiyar! How DARE she? His eyes roared!! Suddenly his mind came to senses -"Don't waste even one more second, standing here and looking at this culprit! SHe can be punished later! First go and see Jodha!

Without letting Ruqaiya and Hoshiyar know of his presence, He moved out from her chamber..his mind and heart struggling with the reality!

Jodha sat in front of mirror looking at her lost self! SHe sobbed terribly like a child and Moti consoled her. She had suffered more than Jalal!
How she had put a big hill-size stone on her heart and said those lines for him when She very well knew Jalal was standing back and listening!
But after all, SHe was doing it for him! She would do anything for him, even give her life..so keeping herself away from him for his goodness was not a big deal, although
it had deeply wounded her inside!

Moti said - Jodha! Aur mat ro! Hum jaante hain ki tumne ye sab Shahenshah ke liye kiya hai! Aur humne bhi tumhara isme saath diya!Lekin kab tak
tum har roz aise pal-pal marogi! Humari mano to Shahenshah ko jaakar sab kuch sach bata do!

Jodha cried inconsolably - Nahi Moti! Vo to humari Shakl bhi nahi dekhna chahte! Lekin acha hi hai..Kam se kam humse door rahenge..to unki jaan par aanch nahi ayegi!

Jodha hugged Moti and cried.

After sometime, Moti wiped off both of their tears and said smilingly - Chalo bahut hua Jodha! Ab bas karo rona varna humari nanhi Shehzadi bhi rone lagegi!

Jodha smiled and ran her hand around her tummy - Tumhe kaise pata Moti, ki ye shehzadi hain..Shehzade bhi to ho sakte haina! Humein to ladka hi chahiye..She blushed a little..Bilkul unki tarah!

Both of them again hugged each other and shared an affectionate hug.

Sometime later, Jodha looked at herself in mirror..At Her empty maang..A lone tear rolled down her eyes..This was the morning time when He would come and crown
her maang with Sindoor! She would feel the heaven ! She reached her hand towards the Sindoor Bottle and took some sindoor.
As she was about to fill it, A hand filled her maang with red sindoor.

She was taken aback with sudden action! She stood up and looked at the person who did this! Before she could realise anything, Jalal hugged her tight and very tight!
He cried terribly hugging her and a big smile didnt leave his face. His expressions were an amalgam of love , care, affection, apology and unimaginable ebbulence!

He embraced her fully in his arms and Jodha too realised that it was him. She felt as if her breath had retuned to her. She hugged him with much more passion.
She cried profusely in his arms..She dug her head deep into his chest, not able to bear the pain anymore..She hugged him passionately!

Jalal said - Kyon? Kyon aapne humare saath aisa kiya Jodha?

Jodha suddenly realised what she was doing! She came out of his hug, wiped off her tears and said angrily - Ye sab kya hai Shahenshah! Humne kaha tha na hum sirf
natak kar rahe the! Hum aapse koi prem nahi karte!

Jalal looked at her with utter surprise and astonishment, still trying to gulp down, how a person can be so selfless and pure!
Without even giving her any explanation, He knelt down and hugged Jodha's tummy. He felt in heaven! Jodha and his love had blossomed! Jodha had given him the
most precious gift. Tears rolled down his eyes.

Jodha tried to push him away - To lagta hai aapne humari aur Moti ki baat sunli! Keval humare bache ke liye yahan aaye haina!

Jalal could not believe Jodha was so innocent and pure, She still tried to put him away from her and child..only to save him from bad luck! Ya Allah!

Jalal's tone became high and angry - Bas Jodha Begum! Hum sab jaan chuke hain! Lekin aisa bahut kuch hai jo aap nahi jaanti..Ise pehle ki aap apne aapko aur
humein takleef dein, hum batana chahte hain ki Ruqaiya Begum ne aapke aur humare saath bahut ghinona khel khela hai! Unhone keval natak kiya hai ..aapko aur
humein alag karne ke liye ye behuda khel khela hai! HUm khud apne kaanon se abhi sunkar aa rahe hain..Unhe hum kya saza denge..Ye to hum bhi nahi jaante..Lekin zaruri yeh hai..ke aap humein
kya saza dengi..Humnein aapko itna dard diya hai..Uske liye humein saza dijiye Jodha! He cried with anger and apology!

Jodha stood rooted to her place! What??? A game! A lie! This big lie! Oh no!

She immediately hugged Jalal and said - Humein maaf kardijiye Shahenshah! Vo sab humnein jaan bujhkar kaha tha..Keval aapke liye..HUmein yakeen nahi hota ke Ruqaiya Begum aisa kuch kar sakti hain!! Humein Kshama kar dijiye!

All the misunderstandings had been cleared out now!
Both of them again shared a passionate and long hug, asking apology to each other and promising that they will not allow anyone to enter their relationship!
None can defeat their True Love! Three of them...Jodha, Jalal and their "pyar ki nishani" savoured the lovely hug!
