That song scene has moved me to the core. Both Rajat and Paridhi were beyond brilliant there. Jalal gave that stunned mesmerized look the moment Jodha started her song with that long note and every now and then his looks of admiration were dripping from every pore of his body.
It reminded me of Akbar's keen interest in listening to Meerabai's bhajans and how he went under disguise to listen to her. He was always a great admirer of art and talent and yesterday it showed.

And yes who sang that song? I want to know the name of the singer and composer and lyricist? It still amazes me to think how much of richness we have in Indian music, history and culture, only if we take the time to explore more!!

Anyway back to JA, yesterday Jodha was the show stealer! CV's you make her go back and forth, just the previous day I was screaming at her lack of logic in opening herself to Sharif and telling everything to Ruqaiya and yesterday you showed her with immense logic, maturity and wisdom! Not only she answered so well to Hamida about political and religious decision of Jalal but even to Jalal she was fantastic with her stand of not conveying anything about her conversation with Ruqaiya. It was an eye opener for Jalal for sure. All the begums back stab one another or complain or plot or scheme and complain about the other but here for the first time one of is begum is not saying anything but yet is conveying volumes with her silence. Jalal being the intelligent person immediately knew where she was coming from and moreover he knew Ruqaiya very well. It wasn't difficult for him to add 2 and 2 together.

What I liked in that scenario was Jalal's unable to stay away from Jodha. On some pretext or the other he wanted to spend some time with Jodha. Now how many times can he keep coming to her weaving some new excuses? 😃 The conversation was also bang on, I liked Jodha in that scene a lot, she was firm, stood her ground, gave some valid logic not to be at his beck and call every moment. She showed her stoic character.

What didn't like was her lack of gratitude every time Jalal compliments or does something for her! When that Mallika comment came from him, maybe she was surprised but all she needed to do was say thanks. Well that didn't come and next morning when Jalal comes looking for his dagger again her comment there sounded a bit harsh to me for no reason at all. Was she miffed that Jalal didn't wish her or didn't know her birthday? I couldn't understand that mood swing because I didn't know whether she remembered her birthday herself or not before Moti reminded her.

I loved the fitting remark of Jalal about 'do chhooriyan ek hi kamre mein'! 😆 After a long time again we got that witty side of Jalal. As I keep saying he has a tremendous sense of humor. I loved their scenes yesterday, very carried out, balanced and shows the steady progress of their relationship not based on passion or physical intimacy but based on appreciation and admiration of their character, attributes, talents and personality.

Now to Ruqaiya and Jodha conevrsation, I loved part of Jodha's retorts to Ruqaiya about Jalal's telling everything to her but I still feel she shouldn't have told her everything what happened or rather what didn't happen. That was none of her business. But I feel this will be the base of a major conflict for the upcoming non-pregnant pregnancy drama or twist that is coming up!! Errr, I don't know how to put it, but CV's how long do you intend to carry this drama? Wouldn't Jodha know in a month's time or less that she is not pregnant? Obviously her body will inform her so and then she will know along with the rest that she is not.

But understand the trust and faith she has developed for Jalal will be again back to trubled waters. And Jalal I don't know how will he think of Jodha's affair with another man under the strict rules and regulation of the harem with no man allowed to enter there. To me this twist sounds ridiculous but will see how you all will span it out. But I wish you all had come up with another angle to create a misunderstanding rather than this weird pregnancy angle. 😔

I am so interested to see Jalal and Ruqaiya conversation today! Many curtains will be raised not only for Jalal but for us, audience as well. Jalal will see the true shade and color of Ruqaiya and now that he is so much in tune with Jodha he will feel the difference all the more. All along Ruqaiya ruled over other begums and Jalal and he has never been interested with other begums other than occasional one night stay with them. He never ventured to know them personally and neither did the other begums try to impress him with their talents or intellect. Now that he has got a taste of that the comparison will bound to come and now Jalal will have a major rude awakening about Ruqaiya. I am sure he won't take any drastic step as far as she is concerned but nevertheless he will have a bitter pill to swallow.

I am sure he will gift Jodha the title of Mallika of something on her birthday and that will burn Ruqaiya in her jealousy and insecurity...will wait and watch!

I am dreading next week with all these articles about this weird scenario...will enjoy till the sunshine lasts! Hopefully today will be a good episode!

For yesterday thank you CV's! A heartfelt bow for that song scene! 👍🏼

Lovely write-up 👍🏼
The song scene had a sacred feel to the moment between Jalal and Jodha. One of the best scenes and special scenes of the show.
Rahim being the other adorable part of the episode.😊

Lashy that is exactly what l wrote. Why was she so miffed I didn't get it. She was again outright rude. I don't know why CV's create this tango dance with Jodha's character, blow hot blow cold. After that beautiful moment of previous night why would she be so rude next day morning?

Well, my guess is as good as yours.

Loved your take on the episode. Keep going with every title having CVs word. I have heard they snoop around here, so hope they find your post.
So with you on Jodha not saying thanks to Jalal. The cooking she did is a thanks to Jalal for a month. He should not expect anything for another month. In the meantime if does anything bad, no cooking again next month.

I said in my review as well that Jodha's withdrawal because of Ruqu will make Jalal realize even more the goodness in Jodha and evilness in Ruqu. Completely agree that Jalal is in for a huge curtain raiser. May be to some extent he knows but now he will see a MEGA view of her tantrums. I hope he has the patience to deal with it all.

That scene was pious, pure, pristinely beautiful, directly pouring from one heart and received by another. It was so soulful to me.

And yes Rahim is too cute and he plays Cupid to Jalal and Jodha. 😃

Hahaha so once a month cooking for Jalal means some months quota of gratitude!? I know!

Yes it will be a rude awakening for Jalal today about Ruqaiya.
