TC had reported that there will be groom switch at the wedding ..aisa kucch nahi hua...so i say we take it with a pinch of salt...i doubt the whole article will be true ...let us wait and see how it unfolds

i have a huge gut feeling Jalal of MC track will not be seen here..he may initially blast off but jodha is not going back to Amer or prison...using his Mughal sultanate ki izzat and ammijaan they may actually fake happy couple expecting lol...to the utter fury of rukku or MA whoever is responsible for this major kaand ...

this would be a plot against jodha developed by maham and ruq together to figure out whether jalal did anything with her, this way they will kill two birds with one stone...get jodha out of the way and also find out what exactly happened that night!

I for all things nice on this Earth hope this news is nowhere near true!

However, @ Vicky there is a MAJOR difference between her suspecting him and him suspecting her

This is not a story today - usne suspect kiyaa tho maine bhi types! 😛

He could have gone to any city or state and bed women and that would still be within his rights - when kings went away for months/years together on wars, they were more likely not being faithful to their queens back home. If she was unfaithful her punishment would most likely be death!😕

When she is suspecting him of getting intimate with her it is a trust issue between husband and wife. Beyond the fact that he's shattered her trust (and unpalatable for the romantic story) it nothing nearly as earth-shattering as the other way around. This is 16th century AND he is her lawfully wedded husband - so him taking her (which though highly unethical and maybe even illegal by today's standards) would have been totally acceptable/the norm then,

However him suspecting her is vastly different - it accuses her of an extramarital affair..in an era when Rajput women rather jauher-ed than became slaves to other kings, in an era where marriage was for life, ina religion where even widow-remarriage wasn't allowed, in a harem where nothing remotely male was even allowed..under such circumstances him even suspecting her for a fleeting moment feels like mental treason!😊

This story (however presented) if turns out true is the biggest blotch on Akbar as and Emperor and Hira Kunwari as an Empress...
