SBS added a new segment about Jodha Akbar and celebration of Diwali in the serial. So, I'm gonna point out the elephant in the room. There's gonna be a Diwali episode next week, so I think all this misunderstanding between Jalal and Jodha will blow over soon enough, and hopefully not in more than one episode. And, I think Jalal really didn't "sleep" sleep with her, he just warmed her up by sharing body heat, as is advisable in such cases. What escapes me is why Maham Anga seems to equate an absolutely non-sexual and very necessary act with sex, and here I thought she was smart. *sigh* Moreover, I think Jalal is hesitant in touching Jodha (because sharing body heat is a little personal, if not intrusive) as he knows what kinds of ideas and conclusions his impulsive and mercurial Jodha Begum will jump to, and then there is his promise to not touch her or overstep his boundaries in any way. Good news is, hopefully, they'll not give each other much grief about the whole ordeal. Bad news is, they'll return to Agra where we'll have not one but two scheming and devious ladies trying to break the couple up, not that they have anything at the moment except for unacknowledged feelings. And, as for yesterday's episode, I loved every bit. The CV's have done a really laudable job with Jalal's characterization. Jodha was a little jumpy, but when isn't she? 😆
P.S. : The title of this thread is really misleading. And, I apologize about that. The point is that, I do not think that Jodha will revert to hating Jalal. I think the story has progressed that far. They won't be the best of buddies, and the occasional "nok-jhok" and "taana marna" will be there. But, I really do think that Jodha and Jalal have started falling for each other, in their own little ways. 😊
