It was a splendid episode and it gives such pleasure to read the analysis by each of u.
Looks like unanimously the entire forum enjoyed the episode making the subsequent discussions even more interesting.
Jodha took everyone by surprise...I almost lost my balance seeing her hug Maham.I found it quite amusing. Jalal's reaction was epic...
Second thing I loved was their little glance exchange after he hands over the fortand s ays I'll take ur leave... Man that 2 second smile/smirk exchange was enough to take me to lalla land.
Anycase that silent smile xchange spoke volumes... Seemed to me like - "u see , I can play even a better game than u".
Overall, lovely episode. Like I said in other posts, would have preferred for Jalaal to have settled the fort matter once and for all finding a middle ground but never mind...as long as Sukanya's marital life is not affected.
It looks like her acknowledgement that she is a Mughal begum and that its him and Agra that matters most to her is something that's very important to him...And it will be a while before he begins to trust her words... as looks like yet again he discarded what she said abt Sarifuddin.

Liked the post. Besides J and J, liked the part below about Maham -

She has this habit of making "one more visit to the vanquished enemy" and then revealing to the enemy the very strategy that would serve the enemy well. She's already showed many signs of this needing to "crow one more time" to the enemy in her earlier interactions with Ruqaiaya, Jodha etc .

Yes, this Maham always keeps coming back, na? This is where she seems to overdo things and get herself in knots!😆😆😆😆😆

I believe it has been progressing. Looking at where we began and where we are now, the story has come a long way. I'm not saying anything negative about taking steps back, nor do I think anything severe will happen. I believe small setbacks are necessary to move forward. When Jodha brought Bakshi Bano as a witness, I consider that a step back because she should have learned her lesson when she brought Rahim to Jalal. But she still made the same mistake and the lesson was driven home. She will not make the same mistake again and look, we have some progression.

I, too, have faith in the creatives. We are reaching a different level in JJ's relationship. Regardless of the route, I'm fully excited and anticipating the end of the journey. For me, CVs can take as long as they need to. 😊

Yes I fully see your point Preet! And you are right small setbacks are par for the course and they help spice up things! Me too ... I am willing to give the Creatives the time they need to really build this story up well!😃

Yes, since Jodha is ware of the fact that now aquiring the fort was more of Izzat ka sawal than teh necessity for Dawalgad people and since her BIL openly endorse that he likes to marry Sukanya and announced that they will take their Bahu home, she has no doubts of Sukanya's future iin her husbands hands. Moreover she knew very well that the fort was not only for prestigeous but also importatnt in geograhical sense for Mughals, she kne wvery well that husband has plnned some startegy before handing over teh FORT. She had infact suggested her brothers that people should fight war and win that fort instead of asking as Neg. So she ill be really happy to know that Jalal had planned to win back the fort. So if the king had the strength to safeguard his fort, let him fight and retain the fort rather than enjoying it at FREE of cost.

Yes Jaya, as a Rajput who values "honour" and as a husband-loyal wife, this Jodha may actually feel thrilled to bits that even jalal did not try to wrangle the Fort out of the Sasur's hands in the sabha using arguments and debate and instead he has chosen the age-old honourable route of winning it back by war. Like Pratap said, its better to win something back by war than to trade for it. And Jalal too is doing just that!👏👏

This is the Jodha and Jalal I love to see...strong people using their brains and excelling!! I would like to see this Jodha more often...and I literally jumped out of joy seeing Jalal having a plan up his sleeve after being disappointed at him for giving away the fort..👏

Oh give me "strategy" every time and I will lap it up!
I just love the way games are played, and so long as the end-result is honourable and the outcome or process does not wilfully harm anyone, its always grand to see "gameplay" especially when we see how one person is at the learning stage and another is a past master.
Even that difference in their stages of development as strategic players was interesting to watch!

Yes indeed! The episode was one that no one can have a quarrel about! And as for that maham hug, I found it extremely funny and I have no doubt that even Jalal was taken aback! That smile again was Killer No. 1!
The best acknowledgement that Jodha has arrived in this new avatar came from Adham and Sharif who are now saying "We have to be careful of her!". I think he now has to be careful of any "baandhi" because who knows who is inside the ghunghat? 😆😆😆
