Today's episode had a different aspect of Emperor Jalaluddin Akbar
One who has had a tough childhood or has to grow up fast because of difficulties in life value it the most.
Jalal proved that time and again in many ways
The way he goes out of his way to give fathers love to rahim even taking him horse ride on his back.
The way he told stories to jodha's sisters and made them sleep with him all night. That was the cutest thing i watched in a movie/serial
Nobody thought till today Jalal has a dil even Man Singh and Bhagwan Das hence they are shocked at Jalal giving higest importance to his little sis-in-laws.
But what no one understands is Jalal never had a childhood.
First he was running hidding from enemies, then seperated from parents by his uncles, then left with Shamshuddin Atagah's custody while his parents went to persia, constant wars, again left alone in kabul by relatives and finally when atlast he felt he could have his childhood his dad died leaving him with huge responsibilities of an emperor, son, husband, brother, brother-in-law, foster son, foster brother, warrior, judge etc
No one in this world thought he was also just 13 years old child or 16 year old teenager or 20 year adult old(in india even 25 is considered as child where parents ensure all facilities and take care of all needs of adults too).
Today with his affection for kids jalal showed many things how he can still be a child at heart, how much he values others childhood a childhood he never had seperated from parents, best part he does not differentiate between a boy/girl child.
Jalal wants to ensure that everyone around him(adults in his family) have a happy life a peaceful life without worries and all children enjoy their childhood. Jalal has had to take many adult responsibilities from childhood hence he wants the adults aound him to have a life without worry and children to enjoy their childhood.
That is why he gives into the childish zidd of ruqaiah and childlike misbehaviour of jodha or innocence of man singh or stupidity of adham khan always because somewhere he knows they have not faced troubles in life hence not grown up to be mature like him although they are same age as him or maybe more elder.
Hopefully he lives his childhood through salim when salim comes in his life playing with him etc.
I am sure it will be jalal who will spoil him with his love and jodha will be strict types.
I want to watch scene Jodha not allowing salim to play and him complaining to jalal "Abu jaan humme ammi jaan khelne nahi dethi" and Jalal getting angry "Jodha begum, aap humare sheiku baba ko kyun thang kar rahi hai, unhe khelne dijiye" and jodha saying "Humare, huamre ka matlab kya hai, hum kya salim ke kuch nahi hai" and both having a big fight going on tu tu main main finally salim had enough and ordering them to keep quiet.

so true. he had such a traumatic childhood, thts why he has so much trust problem. he loves kids & most important is tht he doesnt discriminate b/w boy & a girl. during ruku pregnancy also he said he will welcum a girl child in the same way like a boy. he didnt cared for a "waris", he just wanted to be a father.👏

I don't know if anyone watches How I Met Your Mother.
But this post reminds me of Barney Stinson. As a kid, he had been abandoned by his father, and he re-met his father in his adult years. He was visiting his father, and his father's new family, which included a son. Barney saw how the other son had had a normal childhood, and then proceeded to take down the basketball hoop in the driveway. He asked his father that if he was going to settle down and become a suburban dad, why couldn't he have done that for Barney?

He then takes the hoop and gives it to Ted to put up at his house, and says "A kid needs a hoop."

Totally reminds me of Jalal. Barney grew up to be a womanizer (no heart) and Jalal grew up to be ruthless (no heart). Barney is now on the verge of getting married. Jalal is now on the verge of finding the love and care he always craved.

Never knew I would be comparing these two men!😆

Beautifully said, I read this post and totally saw Jalals life and you're so right, he's so loving with children and it's all because he never had a typical childhood, so he wants to live it through them, and it was so touching to see him with the girls and how they were all sleeping in his arms, shows that Jalal would be such a great dad, and I love what you said about Jalal, Jodha and Salim, he's going to spoil his Shekhu baba with so much love, I can't wait to see Jalal as a dad, and Jodha as a mom, AkDha will make great parents.
LOVE your title, it's so true, LOVE your post, thanks!!!
