even if the arguments are valid, can we spare the creatives some liberty? storytelling is an art, not a compilation of facts. that's what history claims to be. I would argue history is biased too but that's not the point here.

the point is that we should leave the artists and their imagination alone. like Pi says in yann martel's novel which story would you rather believe?

akbar the run of the mill king who did nothing out of the ordinary marrying a hindu or akbar the man who changed his times by falling in love against all odds.

it isn't always about the truth, it's about the story, the faith, and the hope to live on against the big bad world. I, for one, would rather hear and believe Jodha Akbar's immortal love than a regurgitation of bland "facts" (really, accounts from people who are just as biased as anyone else).
