I am watching this show only after end of MC scenes.
I am feeling this show potrays an emperor acting kiddish than mature person he actually was in reality. Which emperor will spend 90% of his time with his wives resolving and creating more ego clashes? He is an emperor and will have lakhs of work than to enter kitchen politics of wife.
Even princess jodha sounds, acts like small kids irrational, tempremental, ever ready to fight. And she shout and humiliate emperor(so what if he is her husband whom she hates) without reason in front of maids, security and ministers.
Rahim speaks and acts more mature.
I understand this is a fictional show but why then give it an historical character name. I think Jalal-Jodha potrayal must mature up. Currently i think its a bit immature jalal devil ideas and jodha's barbed replies. Doesn't emperor-princess have any official works?
We can take a clue from the movie Jodha-Akbar or Mughal-e-azam love stories but emperor/prince hardly had any time for love and were busy in wars, resolving disputes, assasination attempts, meeting other kings, discussing with ministers, coming up with plans etc
Jalla must start going out and doing things like an emperor rather than restrict to harem politics. Same for jodha go out meet people, build gardens, recieve petitions etc
And i found Jalal so mature in MC scenes when he came to know maham involved in MC etc how he found truth and broke down but resolved the issue. He was mature even in ajmer trip but suddenly back at agra fort it looks immature and childish after a death defying experience

i know emperor has their own works but this show isnt to show their official work.. yet we see them working too... this show is mostly about Jodha n Akbar's love journey and i don need any historical accuracy about what they show as long as i am entertained.. and JA is entertaining not only me but everyone.. thats matters most

Yupp...they have their official works etc etc. but it doesnt mean that they have no ryt to have fun! ...they are human beings afterall...whether they r royal or not! ...
And i agree wid surbhiholic...if this show is made to portray akbar- jodhas...official works then i am outta here...🤢...i have got better things to do rather than watching wars and his ministers...

😆😆 Amen. The day they start it with wars and political plotting, the show is over for me. I can read about Akbar if I want to know him better, thank you very much. I signed up for a love story, and if they are getting me history lessons, then count me far out. The trp audience agrees with us, as is evident. 😆 Compare the the trps of the other historical shows, and this one. 😆 Popularity too. I love history myself, and I prefer to read history. Reading is always better than watching a fictional show on television, hoping for history lessons. 😉 Moreover, they have added a good deal of facts as well. This show is a Balaji production, marketed as a love story. Why exactly people keep expecting history lessons from it? And since the love story between Jodha-Jalal is based on folklore itself, the embellishments are only to be expected.

Exactly...this show has already made ample room for history lessons...and i think that is sufficient enough...😆...as of now we r more interested in their love story rather than their great wars and the measure of their conquerance ... And u r ryt...the trp aunties agree wid us 😆

Yup...the makers never said we gonna be factually correct or we gonna show you history...imagine, jalal attending diwan-e-khas then diwan-e-aam...again, diwan-e-khas...jodha going through petitions etc...i am gonna switch off the tv and turn to my books...look at us..we complain day in day out coz we get so less Akdha scenes...

Mostly shows last for year and a half...so...let our jalal and jodha enjoy this time in each other's company..they have rest of their lives to take care of official matters, garden building, wars etc...😉

In the movie JA both HR and AR looked in their thirties...also, I loved them - but, their excessively dignified selves doesn't seem to suit the tempestuous Jalal we're reading about...
In that he was already Akbar...not Jalal...

Jalal was in his early twenties when he married Jodha so theses two are portraying Jo-Ja appear more true to their age/characteristics...
As for political aspects - a lot of it was shown...it's reduced now since Ja-Jo track started..but there will always be politics as long as MA, AK, Sharifu and MP are there...😊
