Disclaimer: NOT AT ALL HISTORICALLY ACCURATE-THE CHARACTERIZATIONS, SOME OF THE CHARACTERS THEMSELVES, AND THE EVENTS. PURE FICTION. Derived from pride and prejudice by Jane Austen, but loosely in the sense that not all events in the book will be a part of this story nor will all events in the story be a part of the book. Also parts of Jodha Akbar (the movie and the show). Basically characters and emotions from a bunch of different places portrayed to my liking. In the end, don't take offense for any reason, this story was to satisfy my creative needs.
Pride & Prejudice
"Even for a Mughal Emperor, such unapologetic and excessive Pride is unhealthy,"
"Neither does such your Prejudice on my character nor The Mughal Sultanat suit you Rajkumari-sa,"
She hated his posh behavior and scornful regard of all those lower than him. His inappropriate manner and word choice. The awkwardness he feigned when she was in the vicinity. Rajkumari Jodha despised and would always despise everything about Shenhensha-e-Hindustan, even if it was illegal.
Her improper tone, her uncouth manners, so very unladylike, they all disgusted him. Her flowing opinions without a filter, her ignorance and taunts, left him frustrated. He cursed his misfortune for being acquainted and required to act with civility around her and her hysterically unfit family.
Tsk, tsk, tsk... With such strong opinions of each other, these two have yet to realize that between Pride and Prejudice, one could very easily miss what has been right there in front of them, all along.

It's 4:30 AM here. I started writing at 11.
I couldn't stop once I started, I've never been so excited about a story before. I think I've written more chapters in once sitting than I ever had in my entire life. When reading Pride and Prejudice for the billionth time recently, I wondered what it'd be like to be to be apart of the story in such a historical time period. I couldn't be Darcy's Elizabeth for I was Indian. And I wanted the historic aspect to the story to be there. Surely enough, then I watched the day's episode of Jodha Akbar. I put two and two together and decided I wanted to write an adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, keeping it's historic beauty and mannerisms constant through an Indian narration. I will be writing this story in my own way, mixing and creating different scenarios. For those of you that've read the book don't spoil it for others, for those of you that haven't read it when I'm done with this FF! It's beautiful.
Alright this is getting long,
Caio!
