look i dont know wht happened in those days, but in 21st century divorces happens in court only, in front of all. just like mainavati was worried about amer's reputation, he is also worried about mughal reputation. if jodha leaves just like tht it will harm mughal reputation. im not saying he is right, but if mainawati can disown her child, why cant jalal do it???

he didnt call d meeting to ask permission or take suggestion ..he cud hve shared d news wid family.. n rest 'farmaan jari kar do'

or may be dey cud hv shifted d scne..lyk maina askng permissn to talk to jodha inprivate n dn cmng bck to court

why he will ask permission??? he is the shahehshah. but he have to give the farman in deewane-e-khas only. maybe he is a shahenshah but he has to ans to people. if jodha leaves just like tht, then also he has to ans. & diwane-e-khas, doesnt mean in front of public. it means in front of sum spl. people. diwane-e-aam means in front people. actually it was mostly his family members & sum imp. ministers noone else.

but still it was a court.. All minsters were presnt..i agree announcement ws necssry.. its juz maina lecturing her daughtr IN FRONT OF SO MANY..dts wht im unhppy abt..

wen ruq tell him dt she jodha mite attmpt suicide he said " mughal sultanat ki izzat k liye hum use marne nahi denge' wat d.. hum use marne nahi denge ws enuf
