ya that's true. but not now, 5 years back. at the time of the film. we had been there for picnic. there is very beautiful waterfall nearby. after enjoying the morning in the water , we went to studio. somebody i know from industry was there that time working on his project. we had lunch there then he showed us entire studio (ND studio, karjat) .

u know half of the beautiful set got burnt in a fire after the film release.

This is the third time I'm hearing about sets getting burnt due to a fire breakout lately...the health and safety regulations in India are really not up to mark!
That explains the limitations in settings too - Since they're only playing around with half a set now - no wonder there's only two-three chambers in Agra palace...

WOW that you got to see the sets..😃

I agree Lashy, no wonder they are stuck to definite places. Moreover, did you know that when the protests were on, the Karni Sena planned to attack their sets, or whenever they came outside for shooting? They are still weary and worried about it, me thinks.

thanks all. the set was burnt immediately after film release, not now. but Nitin Desai (owner of the studio and art director and designer of the set) has rebuilt the entire set. and it's very beautiful and very large. and ya, one should go and see the entire studio if they get the chance. a really good experience and we also get to know the hardwork these ppl behind camera do.
