Now Jodha felt a bit sad and moved closer to Jalal and slowly ran her hand around his chest. Jalal giggled but he pretended to sleep angrily.
Jodha whispered in his ears - Hum aapko bahut ache se Jaante hain Shahenshah..Naatak band kijiye aur so jaaiye.. Samjhe aap..Aur Humein bhi sone dijiye..

Jalal suddenly turned towards Jodha and hugs her with passion.
He said innocently - Ab thik hai..iski kami thi..vo puri ho gayi..humein aise sone ki aadat hai..

Jodha closed her eyes with full embarrasment. She couldnt help it. She couldnt control herself. She lost herself to Jalal.
Both of them dozed off within few minutes, all lost in each others' embrace.

Part 34 :

It was around early morning when Ruqaiya could confirm that Jalal and JOdha were fast asleep.
Her grudge and vigilance for Jodha had only intensified, by each passing second of the terrifying night.

SHe finally woke up from the bed, in order to imperil Jodha at any cost.

She noticed Jalal and Jodha in each others' arms, sleeping peacefully.
SHe burnt with jealousy and hatred. She so much wanted to kill Jodha.

No matter, Jalal had tried to persuade her so much. That his only love was jodha, and that, He took Ruqaiya only to be his special childhood friend. But everything had gone in vain.
Ruqaiya cried with anguish. She just could not let go of Jalal from her hands.

Not only She loved him, but she also wanted to conquer over his body, his Empire and be the ONLY Sovereign Queen beside him.
She could not tolerate any other woman near Jalal. She took all other Begums to be mere victories of Jalal and that, he would never ever give them the place, he had given to her.

Anyways..She came out of her trancely feelings and took the Packet from the table.
She laughed nefariously. She powdered the substance present in the packet and headed towards the gate of her Khema.

She peeped out from her room just to ensure that no one was around.
She saw all the guards performing their duties with full efforts.

She moved back.. towards Jalal and Jodha.

As she approached the serene couple, Khwaja Shera's words rang in her mind.

Khwaja Shera had said - Take this Ruqaiya Begum (handing over the packet to Ruqaiya)...This is the perfect thing you would need..THis intoxication would act as the ultimate
love drug ..that would bring you and Shahenshah together.. SHahenshah would be unconscious after taking this medicine and would listen to everything you would say..All thanks to the
unparalled effects of my medicine..But remember, he would be more unconscious than semi-conscious,,He would hardly hear any words after the effect of this medicine..
Therefore..the best thing you should do is to drug both Shahenshah and Jodha Begum..So that both remain oblivious to reality.. When Shahenshah would be unconscious,
you need to address him with such words..that he wont be able to resist even in his unconsciousness.. Now thats totally upto you..of what things you have to say to Shahenshah..

Ruqaiya came out of the flashback and grinned.

Her eyes had become totally red, not only due to crying but also because of anguish and anger.
She moved towards the couple with full determination and grudge.

Finally,, She reached beside their bed and saw "not so surprising" scene..
She saw Jalal's hand on Jodha's waist and fumed with much jealousy and anger..
Jalal's hands, his legs, his lips, his everything was meant for Ruqaiya- She blabbered and believed.

Finally, she came to Jalal and moved the powdered drug towards his nose. She did the same to Jodha.
Jalal and Jodha were in their peaceful heaven..They couldnt even realise the reality.

Within no seconds, Both of them went into the temporary limbo.

Ruqaiya grinned. What if she wasnt succesful last night, she would definitely not leave this opportunity.
She had waited for long to implement her plans.
With much difficulty, She lifted Jalal out of his bed and made him lay on her own bed.

She nefariously smiled all the while. When she was done with shifting Jalal to her bed, she turned to look towards Jodha.
She said to oblivious Jodha - Today, I am unsuccesful to make love with my husband..but dont you worry darling..You'll soon lose him..
FOr he is ONLY MINE !! And I already have a surprise for you.. I am dying to see your expressions when You'll see him with me..
Hah...You Rajput Wretch!! Poor girl.. You have done the gravest mistake of snatching my husband away from me..and You're gonna regret it now!!

Jalal and Jodha were in temporary intoxication and they would soon open their eyes.

Finally the fine morning arrived with chirps of birds around. Ruqaiya cozied her sleep in the arms of Jalal.
His mere being near her was her oxygen..her life..After so many days, she had got a peaceful sleep.

Jodha and Jalal were about to wake up.
Jodha's eyes felt heavy and her head throbbed from pain.
It felt like a big burden on the head. She gradually opened her eyes..thinking about last night and why she was here.
She smiled in her sleep. But was worried about the sudden heaviness in her head.

She ran her hands around the second half of the bed, to feel him..but to her utter shock, he wasnt there.

Ruqaiya saw a worried Jodha and a big genuine smile of Victory crawled over her face.
SHe immediately rested her head on deeply asleep Jalal..and pretended to sleep.

Jodha woke up with a startle to find out about her husband.
What she saw shocked her very much.

She saw Ruqaiya and Jalal on the same bed, Ruqaiya's head on his chest.
With much difficulty..she gulped down the scene.

She got off the bed..Her eyes misted a bit..But she controlled her feelings..
She could not answer to herself..She thought - Why are you surprised Jodha?? You are not seeing something devastating ..alright!!
He loves you and you love him..But that doesnt mean..that he does not have other responsibilities...
You have to understand that He gotta do other things as well..
Ruqaiya Begum might have felt unwell during the night..so he must have cared for her..Thats it!!
Stop overreacting!! Have faith in him..

She could not control the lone tear that rolled down her cheek..She went near both of them..
Caressed the forehead of Jalal and slowly moved out of Ruqaiya's Khema..
