Recap :

Sharifuddin almost went in trance. He was so happy, he could not believe that he was succesful.

He slowly creeped out of the room throught Balcony. In his immense happiness, he forgot his knife on the bed.

Part 29 :

** Morning time **

Jalal, his ministers and Army returned to Agra palace. Jalal was so much angry,his blood was boiling. He took out his Shamsheer so as to slash Sharifudin as soon as he saw him.

When Jalal and Ministers entered the palace, what they saw stunned them and rooted them then and there.

Hameeda, Jiji Anga, Begums and all other people who were there in palace were crying bitterly.
They all had gathered in the palace front place and were crying.

Jalal was shocked. Before he could say anything, his eyes searched for Jodha..She was nowhere to be seen.

He forgot Shariffudin for a second.

He straight went to Hameeda and asked : Ammi Jaan..Jodha kahan hain? He almost shouted out of care - JODHA KAHAN HAIN?

Before, Hameeda could answer anything, Jalal ran off to his room like a mad husband.

He entered the room and saw a body covered fully with a white cloth, on his bed. The cloth had turned red due to blood of the body.
The body laid lifelessly.

Jalal dropped down on the ground. Time stopped for him. His heart beats stopped for a second. Tears rolled down his red-angered eyes.

He shouted - JODHAAA!!!

All the women and ministers hurried to Jalal's room.

Hameeda came near Jalal, patted his back and said(crying tone) - Jalal! Sambhaliye apne aapko..Jodha sahi salamat hain..
She pointed her fingers towards the small Kanha temple in the corner of the room.

Jalal turned his eyes towards the mandir and saw a motionless Jodha sitting in front of Kanha, uncontrollable tears rolling down her cheeks..

He imediately got up and rushed to Jodha..and Hugged her very tight!!

Jalal (crying profusely) - Jodha aap thik to haina.. Ye sab kya hai? Aap thik haina.??Hum ek pal ke liye..bahut dar gaye the.
Humein laga humnein aapko kho diya..(crying)

Jodha hugged him back (crying profusely) - Shahenshah..ye sab kya ho gaya??Humari...Humari moti ko kisi ne buri tarah maar diya..
(crying)...Uski jaan leli..Hum moti ko nahi bacha paaye.. Sab humare karan hua hai...(Crying)

** Flashback**

Jodha was feeling very alone in the room. An idea struck her mind. She asked Moti to accompany her for the night.
Moti could not resist Jodha. She agreed.
Jodha put off all the lights and both of them gossiped about their childhood time.
They laughed and cried remembering all their old memories.
After sometime, Jodha noticed that Moti fell asleep.
Jodha did not feel like sleepy, after all, her mind was all lost for Jalal.
Jodha got up , covered Moti with blanket and went out of the room to have a walk in the garden.
She ordered all the guards to strictly supervise and maintain top security.

In garden, she met Hameeda Bano, who was also taking a walk in garden.
She greeted her.

Hameeda - Jodha beta! Aap is waqt yahan?

Jodha - Vo Ammi Jaan..Humein neend nahi aa rahi thi..Moti bhi so gayi..isiliye Hum bas tehelne aa gaye..

Hameeda- Moti??

Jodha - Vo Ammi jaan..Hum akela mehsoos kar rahe the, isi liye humnein Moti ko apne kaksh mein bula liya tha,,
Hum dono baatein kar rahe the,,aur vo kab so gayi,,pata hi nahi chala..

Hameeda - Acha to yeh baat haiJodha Beta!! Humein bula letin..Hum dono puri raat baatein karte..Humeinn bhi neend nahi aa rahi hai..
Humein to Jalal ki yaad rahi hai..aur aapko neend kyon nahi aa rahi..

Jodha immediately answered - Humein bhi unki yaad aa rahi hai..

Hameeda smiled and then, Jodha realised what she said. She blushed.

Both Hameeda and Jodha walked in garden and had sweet time.

Jodha - Ammi Jaan..ab hum chalte hain..Aapko bhi so jaana chahiye..

Hameeda - Ji Jodha Beta..

Jodha comes to her room, turns on lantern just to check everything's alrigt and what she sees gives her electric shock.

It was during Hameeda-Jodha convo, that Shariffudin had attacked Moti, mistaking her to be Jodha.

Jodha shouts so loudly - Motiii...that all her guards and Hameeda,who was coming towards her room only...rush to Jodha!!

Jodha falls down on ground, deeply broken and Hameeda consoles Jodha. SHe too is shocked.
Slowly, the news reaches to everyone,, including Shariffudin.
Shariffudin is fuming with anger. His plan had back-fired.

The morning arrives and everyone is weeping.

** Flash back ends **

Jalal was utterly shocked.
He composed himself a bit, stood up and went near the body.
He removed the cloth from body's face and saw Moti.

She was brutally killed. Her stomach had many injuries and her face was also deeply injured.

Jalal was so shocked to see Moti's state, his eyes fuming with anger..
Suddenly, Jalal's eyes went on the dagger near Moti's dead body and he recognised it to be Shariffudin's.

Before saying anything,, He hugs Jodha again, consoles her and says - Jodha! Sambhaliye.. kripya humein bataiye ki kya hua tha?
Humein ye bataiye ki moti ki yeh halat kaise hui..moti yahan kaise.. aur hua kya tha??

Jodha tells him everything about yesterday's night.

Jalal clenches his fist and understands everything within a second.

Everyone present there are really very emotional at Jodha's condition.
But Ruqaiya is not so interested.

Ruqaiya(sad tone ) - Jodha ! Tum itna pareshaan kyon ho rahi ho?? Moti to keval ek daasi hi thi na...Uske liye itna rone ki
zarurat nahi hai.. uski aukaat keval ek baandhi ki thi..Jaise pehle tumhari..She stops in mid when Jalal sees her with fuming eyes.

Jalal (shouts) - Ruqaiya!!! Humein to ab yakeen hi nahi hota ke tum Ruqaiya ho..jo humari sabse achi dost hai..
Tumhare muh se humesha itne kadve vachan kyon nikalte hain..hum tumhe aakhiri baar chetavni de rahe hain..Aainda..Jodha ke
khilaf ek shabd nahi sunenge!! Samjhi tum..

Ruqiya felt insulted, tears rolling down her cheeks and she immediately runs from there.

Jalal looks out for Shariffudin, who is also present in the crowd gathered there.

Jalal runs out to him and beats him like a mad beast.

Jalal (while beating him madly) - Shariffudin !!! Ye tune thik nahi kiya.. Ab humein sab samajh aa raha hai ke kyon Mughali
Tukdi ne hum par humla kiya aur Moti ki maut kaise hui? To kis iraade se aaya tha,,ab hum samajh gaye hain..

He beats him so much so that, the people gathered there are feared to core.
They still are in shock, to believe what Jalal said.

Bakshi bano(Jalal's sis and Shariffdin's wife) comes forward and holds Jalal.

She cries bitterly and says in high anger - Bas Kijiye Bhai jaan.. Ye kya keh rahein hain aap? aap aisa soch bhi kaise sakte hain..
Humare shauhar par itna sangeen ilzaam kaise laga sakte hain..Humein bhi moti ki maut ka dukh hai..lekin Aap in par betuke ilzaam nahi laga sakte..
She cries profusely.

Jalal is in no mood to listen.

Hameeda orders guards to separate Jalal from Shariffudin and arrest Sharifuddin.

Jodha is shocked to her core. She cannot believe that Jalal's relative could do this.
All this while, she had been thinking that some enemy must have done this crime.

Jodha reaches to Jalal, comforts him and gives him her Swear (apni kasam).

Jodha (crying but composing herself) - Shahenshah! Humein bataiye ki aap aisa kyon keh rahe hain..
Hum sach jaan na chahte hain.. Shariffudin Bhai jaan aisa kyon karenge..

Jalal controls his anger hearing Jodha's voice. He hugs her tightly and says -
Allah ka shukar hai Jodha Begum, aapko kuch nahi hua.. Pata nahi..Kya anarth hone wala tha..Allah ne hum par meherbani kardi hai..
Aapki jaan bachakar..

Jodha looks puzzled.

Hameeda - Jalal! Hum sab aapse sach jaan na chahte hain.

Jalal orders his guards to bring the captured enemy in front of all and asks him to reveal everything.

The king confesses that Sharifuddin had instigated them against Jalal, had filled their pockets with money to attack Jalal..
So that Shahenshah could be away from the Agra palace and he could do his work.

All are rooted to their places. Such big conspiracy!! They look at Shariffudin with utter disgust..

Jalal also shows everyone the dagger, which he found near Moti's body and confirms it to be Shariffudin's.

Bakshi Bano is in disbelief. She snatches Sharifuddin's collar and asks - Is this true?? Answer me..is this true??? She slaps him HARD!!

Shariffudin jerks her away and yells - Haan..Humnein rachi hai ye saazish..Haan Haan..Humnein hi ye sab kiya hai..

He looks at the captured enemy and slaps him - Gaddar!! Ek kaam dhang se nahi kar sakte.. Lalat hai tum par...

Jalal is out of his control.
He beats him up again and asks - Bata sabko..ki tune ye sab kyon kiya...BATA...

Shariffudin(confessing out of anger) - Nafrat karte hain hum tumse Jalal.. Nafrat.. Humnein ye sab apne dost Adham ke liye kiya.. Tumne use maarkar thik nahi kiya..
Isi liye..Humne apna pratishodh lena chaha.. Tumhe isi liye Agra se door bheja taki Jodha Begum par humla kar sakein,,jiski wajah se
Adham ko saza-e-maut mili.. Pata nahi ye kaise bach gayin..Humne to khud apne haathon se chaku ghopa tha.. Hun..

Jalal hits him hard on his face. He frowns - Agar Jodha Begum ka naam apni gandi zaban se liya to zaban kaat dunga..

Jodha looks at Shariffudin with disgust.
She comes near him, slaps him many times ,,cries hard and says -Humse dushmani thi to pehle kyon nahi bataya.. Humein maarna tha to bata dete ... Moti ko kyon mara..Kya bigaada tha usne..
She continues slapping him..

Jodha loses her conscious due to continuous crying and stress and faints off.

Jalal catches her hold, and gets immensely worried and angered as well. He orders the guards to put Shariffudin behind Bars,unless he decides when to give him death sentence.

Hameeda, and other senior ladies are tensed as well.

Jalal carries Jodha in his arms and takes her to Jodha's old room.. as their room is not in right condition.

Hameeda and other ladies console Bakshi Bano, who is still in trance..She says - I hate him now! I dont want to see his face again..referring to Shariffudin.
They all make their way to Jodha's room.

**Ruqaiya's Chamber**

Ruqaiya is fuming with anger and profusely crying.

She says - aapko kya ho gaya hai Jalal? Aapke seene mein to dil hi nahi tha..aap us Jodha se mohabbat kaise kar sakte hain..
Aapke sabse kareeb to hum the na.. Chahe aap humein kitna bhi samjha lein..Hum aapko kisi ke saath nahi dekh sakte..Hum aapko haasil karke hi rahenge..
Is baar kuch aisa khel rachenge..ki Jodha Begum bhi raaste se hat jayengi..aur aap bhi humare paas wapas aajayenge..!!

She thinks of someone who can help her in carrying out her conspiracy. She smiles evily and wipes off her tears.

Precap : Hameeda Calls Peer baba to come to Agra, as she is very much worried about recent happenings in their palace.
She wants to do all solutions that are possible, so that peace can make way into all of their lives.
