@mansi.. u have a point there n i agree at that time jodha's reaction n outburst was valid, reasonable and acceptable! however, i cant always use the past injustices to always justify jodha's present outburst, esp so when she was neither provoked nor was she without a choice to act indifferent n take the higher route!

yesterday for me was OTT!

sorry, just my opinion!

Manasi ! Full rant pe ho ! 🤣

I agree ! Yesterday salima trumped the ladies and I always admire the relation of respect these two share ! Jalal could have ignored her khema but it is out of this respect to salima begum as his BK's amanat he always tries to give her that wifely respect he needs to give his BK's family ! 👏

I don't mind javeda in small amounts ! No one can get MA with all their wickedness in a Way javeda does with her silliness ! 😆

I wrote a symbolism I felt in this sequence will CP from EDT !

The pink dupatta symbolism:
Jalal gives the pink dupatta BACK to Ruq while Jodha FILLS in the plain dupatta into pink!
The future foreshadows here: Jalal will leave (whole or somewhat) ruq when Jodha will fill in the color of love in his life!
I like how Jo was kinda hurt and dismayed when Jalal told her that the dupatta was a sign of peace he got for her, and when he tells her that she can play holi as it is his guest's last wish! She was hurt!
😛

I felt first that jodha might back lash him for bringing in a widow's color for her to mock her or something 😆
And also like some forum wasi said that in a way jodha filled the colors of a married woman on that dupatta which symbolizes separation/ death too other than peace for Indian women ! 😳

BUT yes ! I'm disappointed at her ! Why do CVs make her do this public bashing of the king in front of servants ! 🤢
And I'm more sad cause in re beginnif CVs always made sure that Akdha quarrel in private but yesterday Jo was full on trying to prove Jalal heartless and Jalal baba too openly blurting out the "last wish of guest" line ! 😡
Make them private CVs ! Lol !

In many communities white saree is prefered during wedding as a symbol of purity (kanyadan - virgin - pure). And Red saree (or something nearer to that colour) is given to a widow from all her near ones and dear one (withing those 11 days) as she will not be able to wear colour sarees after that.

Absolutely hilarious post...just loved your title
👏

Salima is indeed dignified with her choice of word. Javeda is a true respite in the agra fort. Love her innocence laced with smartness...she can turn maham silent effortlessly. Even I wanted jalal to visit javeda's stall and his reaction would be worth watching

@ jaya ! Ok I haven't heard about the red saree thing to widows ! But i feel unanimously all Hindu castes consider white a bad omen color to wear for married women ! 😆

And white saree for wedding , yes even gujju swear a mostly white one but it has to have a red and green border to symbolize marriage and prosperity ! 😳 same for Bengalis hey have a red border ! Jalal ka shawl was just white and golden mostly ! 😆 but if u get my hunch it's about the Indian school of thought regarding white for women! 😊

Jaya and Khush: Yes even I have heard of this ulta signs of auspiciousness eg white being purer than red for some religions. But I guess symbolisms are open to individual interpretation.
The beauty of symbolisms are that we don't even know if the Creatives intended it or not, but we see the "signs" anyway and think they may be an "ishara" of the future story. Sometimes they are signs (if the Creatives are really very creative people) and sometimes it is just our imaginations.
But still its good fun to see if we can interpret the signs. And I envy all those with an ability to read synmbolisms because I am completely useless. The only signs I can catch are when the diyas get bhujao-fied and someone is about to die (like Suryabhan!)😆😆😆 Even that unless you tell me to specifically watch I will probably miss!
But one symbolism I always get ... when a suhaag raath scene is about to happen and the hero switches off the light! In that situation I can interpret what will happen!😆😆😆
