What I liked today:

• Jalal was so patient and loving in finding out the truth from Rahim. Seeing a calm Jalal, Rahim opened up easily. So much similarity in Akdha handling kids.
• Salima is a lady worth of honor and respect. • MA's bandhi (whats her name-hoshiyar?) loyalty, her concern for MA is applaudable. True, Her name is Resham and she really seems to be very loyal and concerned about her Maalkin.It is this characteristic of her that MA trusts her more than her own son.
• Adam finally showed some concern for her ammi-jaan, it was high time as the lady supports her no matter what.
• MA is unshakeable, she has committed the crime but is absolutely not worried about getting impeached. The only reason for that can be that has her humshakal locked up in some hidden closet.
• Jodha is a new costume in precap, atleast it looked like that to me. Kanha may be sent that to her as a gift for leaving him alone

What I would have liked:

• Jodha did not for once say that she is worried about Jalal after she found out from Rahim that Jalal knows the truth. She knows how close he is to MA and how much he defended her sometime back. ...this emotional quotient was really missing...when she could feel the pain of Ruqaiya on MC then she must have forgiven Jalal too and shown some sympathy and concern or her deserted husband. May be she is still angry😉
  
• I wish MA was not shown so evil, right now it looks like the only reason she protected Jalal was so that she could eventually get her son to be the king. The culprit should have been some bandhi in harem or some other not so important person...Yes this seems a really grave point. MA being a big name in Akbar's history, must not have been charged of a crime that has no such substantial evidence in history.Even if such a track has been incorporated in the show, it must have ended MA throwing her blame at some one else like Resham or else Akbar must not have found the real culprit. Atleast this sita and gita track, such an old filmi formula must not have been implemented in a historical show. This is really ridiculous🤢
  
• The drag of the MC is getting on my nerves now. Next week they are going to spend time on MA's humshakal. They will show all FB about how MA imprisoned her. blah blah blah..Basically seeta geeta track!...Aah, If this track goes on like this only, I am going to lose my mind😡. Its possible that MA poisoned Jalal against Hamida. The child was so young when his own parents had to leave him. At that tender age it is easy to feel insecured and have ties with whoever will shower some love.

- Why Hamida and Akbar not close? Yes he was hostage with uncle for one year so does that mean he grows so close to his nurse maid Maham and ignore Hamida

- Jalal had atleast 3 wet nurses one that minister Samsuddin Agtah wife JiJi Manga. So why so much blind fate and loyalty to Maham? What about his other 2 foster mom's and foster bro's? Why so much favouratism towards MA and Adham?

Because she saved his life. If that is the case what about Hindal Mirza who was killed by Akbar's uncles for rescuing Akbar from that fort. Does he not deserve more credit for saving his life? Akbar should be more loyal and grateful to Ruqu as she was Hindal Mirza's daughter.

I wonder how an emperor can be so innocent in such matters not to recognise own family and friends designs. Jalal is too young and immature currently like a teenager in college. He requires more years and exp to recognise friends from foes by himself without others help.

Its not about being innocent. There are few people that you absolutely trust, its hard to survive without them. In this case for Jalal it was the cruel MA and harsh khan baba.

I think in this matter 4 men will help him and mentor him-Birbal, Man Singh, Rahim, Abul Fazl

and 4 women shall help him- Hamida, Ruqu, Jodha and Salima

These 8 will become his close confidants for life.

As everyone knows Birbal was his adviser, Man Singh his commander in chief, Abul Fazl his best friend, Rahim his spiritual guide and Salim's mentor, Ruqu his harem incharge, Jodha helping in business ventures, Hamida handling buildings and Salima handling court affairs when he would be away from agra travelling or in war.

But brilliant acting by Jalal- the way he walked from Salima's chamber to his own chamber and said Taqlia. 👏 Tears were waiting to come yet he held them back till he was all alone. Where does Ruqu disappear in crucial scenes? I thought she/Salima will console him(Jodha cannot as they are not close) but Salima though shocked to see him in tears did not go and console him. Why? Is she not his cousin sis and childhood friend? Not as a husband or emperor but you can console a shattered person like friend/cousin brother. That scene somewhere disappointed me that a person is shattered and Salima did not even offer few words to console or hug him/place hand on his shoulder to console a greiving father a cousin brother? Why?

Agreed, but Salima is very matured. She knows that Jalal is not someone who looks for support, at that time she knew he would prefer to be alone than take her company. She just respected his privacy. Even Ruqu wasn't there to console him when khan baba died. That's why Jalal has a deep wound that never gets healed, its only Jodha who will understand and help him heal.

Does Salima think Jalal killed Bairam Khan or was responsible for his death?

I don't think so, else he wouldnt marry her.
