To all those cheering me up ... thanks.
But I just wanted to say that as a Brand Strategist and Brand Marketing professional I know from my own professional experience with placing brand ads for these serial time slots that when there is a new serial with buzz on the scene there is a churn in the audience loyalties for the serials around the same-ish time band. Hence I do have an anticipation that the start of Mahabharat with all its buzz will affect some of the sudience loyalties of the serials around that time slot. For instance, people who cannot find the time to watch both Jodha Akbar and Mahabharat from 8 p to 9 pm in straight watch, will sometimes prefer to see the new stuff (to see what its all about) and then continue their watching of Jodha Akbar at the next available time slot (ie. at 10.30 or 11 pm as the case may be). This affects JA whether we like it or not, because the TRPs are calculated for JA based on the 8 pm slot not the 10.30/11 pm slot.
Why I am worried about this is because if there is likely to be an audience churn, the PH of Jodha Akbar will try to hang on to the suspense of the miscarriage plot to ensure that the people who are tempted to watch Mahabharat for the buzz will watch JA at 8 pm instead of switching to 10.30/11pm.
My worry is just limited to this one point: will the Creatives of JA try to elongate this culprit search and continue the Jodha-Jalal rift? Or will they finish this track and go on to the next track? I hope it is the latter, but I am afraid it may be the former.
That's why when I saw the SBS segment showing Jodha trying but failing to nail the culprit in front of jalal, my fears of this miscarriage track prolonging surfaced! Maybe Maham is too smart to get caught and maybe she will still make someone elese take the blame. But either way this miscarriage mystery has gone on for too long, so all I want is for this miscarriage mystery to be completed in one form or another (maybe by nailing the real cuprit, maybe by nailing a "fall guy" or maybe even keeping this track unresolved till; a later time, as they did in the case of the mirchi and the food earlier).
They need to either close it out or at least consciously move on to something else for the story to move on instead of keeping the stalemate going for another week or ten days till the next set of TRPs come out!
