Lovely post 😊
Very true! The highlight of today's episode were the Amer princes! I missed the first battle between Amer and the Mughals so I don't know how they were in that but today I finally saw the Rajput courage and true Rajput warriors in them.
Honestly I was a bit disappointed with the battle scenes (where was Jalaal's army 😕 Were they all taken down by the arrows without Jalaal getting even a hint of it till he woke up?)
But the Amer gang made up for it (especially the scene you mentioned which was pretty awesome) so I'm not going to complain about the bad CGI involving the arrows in the tent!
Today Jalaal proved that contrary to expectations he does have a conscience and a heart which is why he was mulling over Bhagwan Das saving his life. Also Jalaal hasn't had any companion/friend except for Bairam. The people around him protect him only because he is their King. They might turn their backs on him if one day he loses his Kingdom. But today he saw the Amer Princes protecting him firstly because he is family - he is their sister's husband. This is a very new experience for him - this familial duty and that is one of the reasons he is so overwhelmed - especially when Bhagwan Das gives him water.
Ruku on the other hand proved that she is the cold, calculating and heartless one. She also proved that despite growing up with Jalaal, she does not know him as well as she thinks she does and this is going to cause her much pain, I forsee. She has failed to see the inherent goodness hidden deep in him.
PS - At first look, I thought the precap might be a dream coz it didnt make sense to me at all!
Thank you, Hobby. War scenes are very difficult to execute on TV because we cannot get that many junior artists , nor are TV directors trained or equipped enough to design or execute combat scenes That is why they were so blotchy and even the screenplay writer wrote a messed up sequence.
Still, like you said, the sentiments were in place and pretty powerful. Jalaal got a taste of Rajput loyalty and their valour. He has never seen anyone go such an extra mile for relationships. He cannot understand how someone can give life for someone just because of a connection and commitment. He was never taught the inlays of relationships.
Ruqqu doesn't know Jalaal at all - and this keeps getting cemented again and again. I did not understand the precap either- but it did make me laugh.😆
