I have been MIA for a long time because college has once again resumed and it's been a hectic couple of days.
But aren't you guys loving the way the story is shaping up thus far?
With the whole Ruqaiya pregnancy track the revenge track has been sidelined and it is actually really nice to see Jalal being nice to Jodha for a change. He loves to see new sides of Jodha and he has accepted that fact as well. He is starting to give Jodha a lot more importance in his life. I cannot say that he is full out in love with Jodha at this point. I think it will take him a bit longer to completely fall in love with her, but I must say that he has created a space for her in his heart. He has the biggest soft corner for Jodha and I think it's becoming more apparent by the day.
Whenever, he is around Jodha he loses himself. Often he will pay attention to what she is saying at first and then totally get lost in her. The Aarti scene is a great example of that. He was listening to Jodha or at least looking at her in his senses, but soon as she started speaking and explaining to him what to do he was lost in her. He could care less about what she was saying he was too busy staring at her. And lets face it, the way he grabbed her hand was in part to flirt with her and just to get to touch her hand not to stop her from giving him aarti. It was kind of to flirtingly tell her "I know what to do, this whole thing where I put my hand in the fire was a charade, I just wanted to annoy you/plus I felt like grabbing your hand" kind of a thing. Don't you guys think so? I mean he could have let her do the aarti for him and then later tell her to hold on a second so that he can show her that he knows what to do, but why on earth would he do that when he can hold her hand to stop her and then smile at her in a flirty way. After she left, he looked at his hand and smiled lovingly as if there was something about her that makes him feel at peace or happy. It's kind of like the face we would make when our crush or the person we really like grabs a hold of our hand and we're just in awe that something like that actually happened so we look at our hand and go "oh my gosh, he held my hand!". 😆 Expect he was more calm and composed.
Nevertheless, I also loved how he was so excited or happy, at least, to see that though Jodha decided not to be a part of his happiness directly, she did decide to give something to his unborn child and his mother to showcase her happiness. The thing that I loved most about that scene is that Ruqaiya is being a brat about Jodha's present and telling Jalal how horrible the gift that Jodha gave her is and all he can think of is the fact that she actually gave something. He's happy that she was actually a part of his happiness I suppose. That and the fact that he got to discover yet another side of Jodha which was that of a great writer. In that scene, personally all I can see was Ruqiaya babbling on and on while Jalal was lost in his own thoughts. Which brings me back to my crush scenario. When our crush says or gives something to our friend or someone we know we get so excited and we want to know what he/she said and what he/she gave just because it lets us know a little bit more about the person and we kind of want to determine whether anything they said had anything to do with us. That is I think the same thing that Jalal was going through or doing. Plus, I also think he was mesmerized by her sheer talent. She is one talented girl and he absolutely loves learning things about her in my opinion. If not that he memorized the poem and recited it to her. "He went to ask her for the meaning of the poem" in my opinion it was more of a "I know you gave a present and you were happy for me so I wanted to come thank you and let you know what I know you are happy for me" kind of a thing. I also loved their little fight and flirt scene there.
Coming to today's episode, how many of us think that Jalal was such an absolute sweetheart today for showing everyone what Jodha gave and indirectly telling her how thankful he is she gave his unborn child something. For once, Jalal did not humiliate Jodha, but instead gave her respect because as we all know it could have gone in either direction. I thought he was going to insult her for giving Ruqaiya such a thing, but he didn't. He let Jodha and Ruqaiya know that he loved the gift. Plus, how many of you noticed when Jalal walked in his attention was not focused on his mother of his would be child but Jodha. He was smiling at her and just happy to see her. Ruqaiya sure as heck noticed and was mad.😆
I also feel that Jalal is really getting to know how different Jodha is from his others wives. For Jalal what he feels for Jodha isn't only skin deep. He loves all things about her. Well let's just say he is attracted to all things about her for now. When he asked her to pretend to be pregnant he knew she would flat out say "no" and then when Ruqaiya called him to tell him she was pregnant he thought she was trying to pretend and he said something along the lines of "I was trying to convince Jodha to pretend to be pregnant and despite me trying to convince her she said "no" and here you are without me even asking ready to pretend." I don't know why I felt he said that as an insult. He wasn't flat out insulting her but kind of meant it in a rude way because it kind of showcase that Jodha treads on the path that is right while Ruqaiya is willing to do anything. That and he seemed kind of annoyed that she had disturbed his blooming romance with Jodha.
Jodha! Well Jodha is finally becoming less judgmental of Jalal. When she gets to see the real side of him she smiles a bit. Whenever he is really close to her and is admiring her beauty or just being flirty she just shyly smiles and later acts as if she is annoyed. To me it seems as if Jodha likes the attention she is getting though she claims to hate it. Nevertheless, I think she is kind of in awe seeing the real side of him, but still has her guard up but slowly she will let it down. She seems happy and less miserable for the most part.
I think the pregnancy track has done wonders for Jodha and Jalal. The whole "I hate you and want to bring you down in any way possible" track is kind of being sidelined as they get to know each other for who they are.
How are you guys taking the episodes? And don't you guys think Jalal is halfway in love with Jodha now. We don't even have to look for subtle hints anymore. It's pretty obvious he's attracted to her with his sleepless nights and the fact that he claims "he always tries not to think of her but she always manages to do something that always forces him to think of her." She is the center of his attention. Always eyeballing her. 😆
Look forward to reading what you guys have to say!
Love,
Riya
