Chapter 7
Jodha was playing with the pigeons. She was happy after sooo many days.It had been a month since she got married but did not smile like this. She was smiling all her heart out. She was unknown that a pair of eyes were staring at her. Smirking. It was none other than Adham Khan. He checked Jodha from top to bottom. Bakshi Bano was coming to Jodha and then she saw him staring at Jodha. Bakshi knew that Adham Khan was thinking something bad about Jodha. She had to inform her. Bakshi called ot "Mallika come inside your room. I have to talk to you.Its important." Adham Khan's concentration broke and he went away from there. Jodha came inside. She saw Bakshi Bano all tensed and waking back and forth, "What happened Bakshi Bano?'
"I want to tell u something very important." She hesistated to tell Jodha abput Adham Khan." Actually...Actually bhabi yo" "Yes yes tell me Bakshi Bano" Bakshi Bano turned away from Jodha as she couldnt tell it her face to face. "Bhabi the thing is that you know Adham Khan? He was staring hungrily at you. It felt that he would just eat u up. So be careful from Adham Khan. Here I told u everything" Bakshi Bano didnt get any response from Jodha. "I know bhabhi u r shocked but I think u should tell this to Bhaijaan after he returns from his trip before it gets serious." Still no response." Bakshi turned around and saw Jodha lying down on the floor. Her eyes were closed. "Bhabhi wake up. Bhabhi."
She called the doctor. The doctor checked Jodha. Bkshi was getting scared. What if something serious happened to Bhabhi? Bakshi thought to herself. The doctor got up from the bed and smiled at Bakshi. "What happened to Bhabhi?" "Dont be tensed. U should be happy because u r going to be Phuppi." "A smile appeared on Bakshi's face. "Bhabi is pregnant?? I'm so happy!" Jodha slowly opened her eyes and right at the moment Bakshi gabe her a hug "Bhabhi U r pregnant!" Jodha became very happy. Suddenly a Dasi entered the room and said "Shehanshaji came back from his trip and he is asking for u." Then tge dasi went away. Bakshi then spoke out "Bhabi I cant wait to see Bhaijaan's expression. He will be delighted with the news. His first child. Come Bhabi lets tell Bhaijaan about it." the smile on Jodha's face disppeared. She held Bakshi's hand. "Bakshi Bano can I ask u a favour? Please dont tell Shehanshaji that I'm pregnant. I will tell him later. Not only shehanshaji. u wont tell it to anyone." Jodha then turned to the doctor "U also dont tell Shahenshaji or anyone." Both of them nodded.
Jodhafixed herself up and then went out to meet Jalal who was impatiently waiting for Jodha in his room. He heard payal ringing and he was sure that Jodha was near.He heard a knock on the door. He said with a stern vouce "Come in." Then the beauty queen Jodha entered his room. A smile appeared on his face. It had been so many days since he had seen Jodha. He slowly went up to Jodha and came closer to her. She took a few steps backwards which made him to take some steps forward. Jodha hit the wall. Jalal came close to Jodha's cheeks. "Stop right at this instance!" said Jodha. Jalal froze and became a bit angry." U do remember the deal right? U wont touch me." Jalal then smirked "U do remember that the deal said we would share the same room and the same bed." Jodha then said "I know. But Im hungry and Im going to the kitchen."
Jalal: then dine with me. Im also very hungry.
Jodha was about to say somethimg when the dasi interrupted them and said that Hamida Bano wanted to meet Jodha. Jalal told Jodha to go and meet His Ammi. "But Jodha return right after ur done talking to Ammi or else the deal will be broken and i get to touch u." "No need to be so happy. I wont let u be happy. I will return in a jiffy." By saying this she left. Just after Jodha left Bakshi Bano entered the room."Bhaijaan I have to tell you something."
After about twenty minutes Jodha went back to Jalal's room. Jodha saw Jalal sitting on the bed and Bakshi Bano was standing beside him. Jodha's heart started racing.Y is Bakshi Bano here? Did she tell Jalal anything. No no a sister can enter her brothers room for anything. UI know she didnt tell Jalal anything.She thought to herself. Jalal looked at Jodha with a smiling face "Jodha Bakshi Bano has told me everything."
