Good old days ! Sagars undoubtedly put a lot into their music and songs ! Like in Ramayana they had a new song every day for the scene ! It's like music/song is the inner voice of their characters ! 👏

Sun re megha rahi gagan ke ! I had it on such a loop I could write that FULL 6min odd song without listening to it on paper, and I did it once when bored ! 🤣

1st July:

I think this was my fav. epi so far in the series...a very gripping one overall with some really good scenes...they maintained good suspence throughout. Rajat and Paridhi both did a superb job in this epi.

The highlight of the epi for sure was the scene when Jodha puts a sword to Jalal's throat after recognizing him as the guy she saw in the reflection...how Jalal manages to outsmart her and outmaneuver her here was really interesting to watch...especially the bit with the Rajput Army tattoo where you wonder for a bit if Jalal's gonna be caught...lol...I'd also like to mention that the chemistry b/w them in this scene was superbly created...Jalal's cleverness yet his being drawn towards Jodha was nicely balanced...ditto with Jodha...the balance b/w suspicious/fiery Jodha and the Jodha who is drawn to him too...I particularly liked two bits...the pause that Jalal takes before looking up at Jodha and calmly replying "Umerkot" as the place he's from...and then the last bit where he tells her she's right...the Mughals could be anywhere...today Rajat did a SUPERB job in balancing the voice modulation and acting👏...and I was really impressed by Paridhi too...she looked really pretty and I love the way she plays fiery Jodha👏


Another nice scene although kinda far-fetched was the bit where Jalal is walking alongside Suryanbhan-Jodha in his Rajput disguise...lol the funny thing is that he was walking a distance away from them but it was shown like he could hear their convo and he heard all of Jodha's bitter ranting about how much she hates Jalal...lol...again Rajat did a good job of expressions here...only bit I'm slightly confused about was the way Jalal was initially watching her with a slight smirk but then later on it was like he was suddenly totally entranced by her for a moment...regardless, quite a nicely done bit.

Loved the ending with Jalal making his escape with Abdul and leaving a message behind...lol...oh before this also loved the bit with his and Abdul's silent communication near the jail when Abdul recognizes him as having come to rescue him...I'm liking the work of the actor playing Abdul.

Overall really good epi...no glaring camerawork or editing glitches...I really enjoyed it.

Tomorrow looks good too per the precap.

@Anu I somehow agree with you regarding the diction of the actors. Some part of it stems from the mediocre MADERN waala dialogues😆😆😆But Ashwini seems to be using a Pathani accent for her talking specially with the guards.She is one FAB actress and I am waiting to watch some good stuff from her.
BTW totally agree about this BEING EKTA ka JA ..So typical OTT and formula stuff is INEVITABLE,but somehow the actors are good.Gosh if onlt they had some better directors.

Coming to the cinematography,It has IMPROVED!! YES!!its has several notches since the first episode .ITS STILL MEDIOCRE but much better😆😆😆

Today's epi was a MAJOR improvement, Piu...did you watch? I quite liked the epi today...chemistry was nicely built up too...LOL baaki sab ek taraf but Ekta knows her work when it comes to building love-hate chemistry😆

I guess they will show Ruqaiya later in the week...today Jodha-Akbar's chemistry was quite palpable.

But I loved overall how they are shown as equals ! 😃
Neither was Jalal dumb to get caught - and I honestly was going to believe he wouldn't have been smart enough and will be caught but NO ! Again he pierced his body got pain to reach jodha in a way !
Nor was jodha dumb to fall for his Aksent and give away !

Lets see how much can they pull off this equalization !

Shaguni scene was NOT needed ! Like we get it ! Jodha will only go to Jalal ! Lets not even talk of Kali maa BGM ! 😳
