Hello everyone
May be am wrong but according to me tuladaan is the custom of south not of rajasthan and I visit many places of rajasthan I do not see like that but in south mostly math do tuladaan with bananas against weight

actually even my mom mentioned that,we south indians have that tradition.but not so much in the north.

there is a mention of tulaadan done by satyabhama of krishna & krishna was a northener...not Rajasthan but from the north.

As a north Indian I can assure u that it does happens in north also, but very rarely.. While in the earlier ages it was done with precious jewlls... Now it's done with precious clothes.. Which r later distributed among the pujaris of the Temple... I can tell u this b'cause I've seen it taking place at the very famous temple of kaalka Devi in Delhi...😊
