1st Episode...ummm...not upto expectations

HEY there...new to this forum...and yes this is my first topic but I couldnt help but write how disappointed I am with some things in the highly awaited show Jodha-Akbar's first episode.

Show starts with an amazing tour of Ajmer and Agra(I have been there), Akbar's Makbara and the streets of Ajmer,,,,beautiful direction I must say...👏👏👏...Never seen such a fresh starting for a serial...

Then they show a lovely romantic scene between the souls of Akbar and Jodha. (I was SOOO Touched) 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Till then it was fine...and my face was like this 😃

The they started with the story of The Great Akbar and how did he become such a ruthless and feared king.

Rajat Tokas has already featured in some serials before and I confess here that I kind of like him 😳😳😳

they didnt show Rajat here but a fearless 15 year old boy who was never afraid of getting anything he wants... kingdoms,soldiers ...you just name it and most importantly the fear he imposed in the hearts of people...very nice portrayal...I was impressed 😛

and then came in picture----Jodha Bai with my face like

Here I have some problems with the show makers 😎

1- LANGUAGE 😡 🥺 👎🏼 😲 (you see my emotions here)

I have always been impressed with the language they use in such serials...I mean the Hardcore Hindi and Urdu...Iam a huge fan of serials based on kingdoms and kings...remember the show- Lakshmi bai ⭐️...but to my utter disappointment they dont use any such thing...very common hindi words are used...even the king and queen were using very normal hindi words...I am sure 400 years back they didnt have the word "Gussa" in their dictionary...they used "Krodh" instead...Fine if they want to connect with the audience but they are Rajputs and the were not even using their regional Rajasthani language...😡 WHy????? WHy????? I would'nt be surprised if they start using English in between too..Language really is very important for me

2- Body Language 😭 👎🏼 😲

I dont if I am wrong or right but 400 years ago the Kings and Queens and most importantly their daughters and sons were never supposed to run in their Palaces let alone playing with the birds and arguing with each other in front of their servants.😆...I mean King and Queen of that time,, they had such an Aura, such a great personality at that time.

Jodha, our dear Jodha was not only seen playing with the birds but without having the least knowledge of where is her dress going...The Great king - I mean Jodha's Father was running behind her...WOW!!!!!! and the Queen tooo...DOUBLE WOW!!!!!!! with all the servants, nephews and nieces...TRIPLE WOW!!! maybe I should run away too...😳

3- Too hasty 😔 😒 🥺

They were too hasty in showing the childhood of Akbar,,,I mean just in 15 minutes...I am a huge fan of Akbar Baadshaw...he deserves atleast two three episodes of how was he exactly brought up...same with Jodha...If they want to show that how contrast their nature is then they should exactly start with their childhood...
From what I concluded Jodha was brought up in a warm and loving environment and Akbar in totally different (devoid of love and care)...

4- Supporting Characters😳😒 😲🤪

If my mother hadnt stopped me I was just going to slap that irritating, arrogant and immature sister of Jodha by getting inside my TV screen...😡 She was SOOO irritating just like my own sister...cursing her poor sister...😆
Dad and Mom werent good either...And Bhai-sa was too sloppy looking...


Suggestions:😒

I am not a script writer or something...its just a feedback from a disappointed viewer...😕😕😕😕

-> Please improve the Language ...Rajputs dont use such language at all...

-> Please improve the body language...behave like a king and queen if you are one...😡

-> All irritating supporting characters must be removed before I kill them...😡

ONLY HOPE LEFT:- ⭐️

AKBAR-----Please be good enough... Indeed I have great expectations from Rajat...😳

I have yet to see the characters supporting him and then I will decide who shall I kill first...😎


All in all a rating of 5/10...Please improve the language...👎🏼

I agree with alot of your points. Especially the language one! When her sister was speaking, I couldn't help but be shocked at her hindi. It seemed like she was today's teenager whining about the stuff she wants. 😳

I thought it was like not good but not so bad at the same time also. But as the series progresses, we should see great improvement. It's only the first few episodes, tho socha maaf kardete hai 😳

I personally like first episode much better than film Jodha Akber.

first espisode doesn't impressive hope its will improve soon

but dont expect more from Ekta

yeah deir is lot of imrvmnt needed in dailogues nd animations...nd rajputa need to bhv as rajputs

Yaa am agree from promos I feel that the show has gr8 language impression and all but I feel rajat can do more and more I can't say anything about Paridhi In whole epi I like only tomb aka makbara scene the cv has to take care about that

It's just starting yaar let's see what's store for us waise Bhi today is Rajats entry me can't wait
