He shouldn't be pointing fingers as he was not considered the best singer on the first indian idol. Rahul was more consistent. Even this time Harshit and Debojeet were more consistent. These contests are unpredictable. When you go for a reality show, one must accept that there are several factors which make someone the winner.

when rahul and others said they wont take part in any other singing reality show, they were criticized. but abhijeet is appreciated for saying so. when rahul said people made a mistake in indian idol 1 he was called cheap and arrogant. actually he was way better than abhijeet in indian idol. and he was just talking abt his elimination. never said anything against abhijeet. infact he has never ever said anything rude to anybody on the show or in his interviews. Then when abhijeet said people vote for good looking contestants, people still call him honest, humble and decent. both were correct in whatever they said. its just that fans interpret it their way and analyze the character of contestants they personally dont know.

just accept that both of them deserved to win and so the deserving person has one.

they don't have anything new to offer in other singing competitions ( unless they anchor it ), so this one should be their last.
