I definitely think that by Rahul saying "the audience realised their mistake", I think he meant that regarding his elimination, NOT the fact that Abhijeet got voted out... cos if he meant that, then he should have made a hungama about it a long time ago.

As far as I know Rahul has never bad-mouthed anyone... and if people think that he meant by audience realising their mistake in voting Abhijeet in Indian Idol, then that certainly means he was bashing Amit Sana too! Because Amit Sana was the 2nd finalist, not Rahul... and in that case, I dont think Rahul was bashing anyone. 🥰

I personally think it's a small thing made into something big, but that's just me... I'd like to leave it at congratulating Rahul and sharing his happiness.. 🥰

Well there are a few people who think that Abhijeet was not the deserving winner of II 1..... He has improved so much since then that now many of these people think that he is the deserving winner.....

Rahul was eliminated that time because of fight with amit sana over song selection and that was definitely not the criteria not to vote for some deserving contestant..... Everyone makes mistakes and rahul has definitely made a mistake with this sentence but that cant outrightly make him less deserving superstar....

Congo and best luck to him

that is 100 % correct on rahul 's part to say that.....abhijeet is a big mistake u cheapsters...abhi has a good voice but he is no way near rahul's talent.{ sonu nigam said that..& all u guys dont know abt singing )....all u guys r making fool of urself....because the real champ has won....& thank the audience who voted were correct.....u alll get a life Cool

i seriously wish that rahul should have avoided that comment..

let me make this very clear .. rahul did deserve to win indian idol and also he did certainly deserved his triumph at JJWS

but i wish he had not commented that perticular comment Stern%20Smile

Actually Rahul and Abhijeet are really good friends. It's surprising Rahul said something like this.... or maybe he meant that he was voted off on the third position in Indian Idol so he is happy that the audience have realised their mistake.

I am not a Rahul fan... my fav are Abhijeet, Harshit and Debo but sometimes you can get misquoted in an article. Though I'm not too happy with the words he used

It was nice of Abhijeet to be present till the end.
