When the show began, it was for the purpose of that some people thought that the champions weren't deserving of their titles, and some challengers should've won at the time in their competitiion....The aim for the challengers was to win their title back (which Rahul Vaidya did) and the aim for the champions was to prove that they deserved to win the competition they were in and Abhijeet did prove that!! He did not fail to prove that he definitely deserved the Indian Idol title over Amit Sana & Rahul Vaidya...
Everyone says, its fair Rahul won, because Abhijeet has already won II, well he deserved to win that title, and maybe Rahul Vaidya deserves to win this one because he performs sensationally & like a true superstar! But his singing as far as that is concerned is no match to the singing of abhijeet & harshit. So he may be the deservin winner for this title as he performs best...but the goal for these singers is to do playback most importantly, and in that case Rahul Vaidya isn't as talented as others.....

and I tell you....Abhijeet S will go on to be more successful playback singer than Rahul Vaidya....
P.S. Nuthin against rahul or his fans (that includes me), I love him a lot (tiny bit less than abhi) and I wanted these two to battle it out even in II and even in Superstar!
