If say, Vineet was getting more votes, what sense would it make to a TV company, to get rid of him (who gets them a lot of votes and hence money every week) and rig results so that someone with less votes go through??

Reality shows are not rigged. It would make no financial sense to the TV company to rig them.

Yes, the deserved person does not win. But that is because the public votes for personalities they like / people from their region or cast / etc rather than based on musical talent.

But that does not mean they are rigged.

If Rahul won, it is because more people liked him and voted for him.

Bang on target here! I agree with each and every word you wrote up there.

I feel the producers, at times, do manipulate the public with dramabazi and nok-jhonk that is totally staged to work up a particular region or section for voting frenzy but that's where it all stops. At the end of the day, public votes decide the winner.

Eventhough Harshit is my favorite, I wouldn't say the show was rigged just because he did not win. God knows how many more conspiracy theories poeple will come up with😆

i agree with u slash ur bang on hehe well scorpion topics like these really hurt the feelings of fans rahul truly deserved to win and u may not like him but everyone has their own view n opinions but for me he will always be an excellent singer and performer and im really happy to c him win 3 cheers for RAHUL VAIDYA-THE SUPERSTAR hip hip hurray n i dun think this show is fixed cuz all the eliminations were live and we used to get all the spoilers on thurdays and not weeks ago and besides we got to know about the votes the finalists got and there were some bloopers and hustle bustle at the end which proves the show was not edited and what about all the votes people gave and how the contestants asked for them it can't be fake....!!!! So RAHUL VAIDYA is the genuine superstar!!!

All three of them Rahul, Abhijeet, Harshit & Debu were good. Each was great in his own way.BUt then there has to be one winner & its decided by public vote. That is influenced by different things like personality, type of song sng in that particular episoe, & unfortunately regionality.

If you ask public vote without the contestants singing again result would vary. Otherwise we won't have two contests with same contestants Abhijeet & Rahul with two different results.

If it was rigged why wouldn't Star make Harshit ,the runner up from their own show, SVOI make win claiming that to be the best musical sho amongs all that making someone from rival channel win.

My personal opinoin is this was one of the rare shows where all three were deserving with other deserving contestants left behind as only thee people could be at top. May be first time it didn't matter who won.

As Sonu said appropriately for the top three is true for winner. They are in this position because of their talent & luck.

You can't say Shan is better than Sonu just because Shan won filmfare & Sonu didn't.They both are amazing singers in their own way.This was same. It was contest between the best.

The grand finale was shot on Wednesday morning and only Bips part was delayed to Thursday n that is why Rahul, Judges n Mandira weren't there on Thursday shoot coz Bipasha left the sets on Wednesday without telling anyone … apparently she had sum issues with Shahid Kapoor… its hilarious coz even the results were announced in Wednesday's shoot. Harshit & Abhijeet just came 2 shoot that bit with Bipasha!

So what were Endemol productions thinking … they made a fool out of so many people (sum r here) and generated a lot revenue through the sms voting

If that's true, then people have been defrauded: they paid money to vote believing that their votes would matter when in fact they would not.

Harshit and Abhijeet were my favorites, but that doesn't mean I'm going to put Rahul down for being the winner.
