Recording studios vs Reality shows - Page 2

Most of them have sung sevral songs...I dont think they are stuglers at all...they are doing shows abroad ...Vineet has already sung 6 different songs for HR..same for rahul & abhijeet...they have their own solo albums...

I think competition is too tough to get a spot in the recording studios.You need exceptional talent and lot of hard work and good luck.

These Judges have praised these singers to the skies. They seems like just doing their job. But definitley few have shown a lot of improvement and if they continue to work hard and make progress like they have done so far, they may be knocking at recording studios in the next few years.

i think singers like vinit,abhijeet n rahul can do well in playback singing as they have alreadly recorded a few numbers which were liked, and given the right songs they could all be outstanding. also i think reality show singers can have success in playback singing as shreya ghosal also won sa re gama pa and is a massive success now

What do you all think - who gets more popularity?? Reality show contestants or the playback singers 😛

I think popular singers...but the hype may be for reality show's contestants when only the show is on air...

I think music reality contestants are much more popular when they are in lime light and are performing on TV because of their fan base.

I feel luck plays a big part to make it regular to the recording studios. Many reality show contestants have got a chance to sing a song in a film here and there. But to my knowledge none of the songs sung by them has been a super hit(did not follow Indian idol, so cannot comment on Abhijit sawant or Rahul). Either they did not get to sing a full song and just sung a tiny bit portion, or the movie was a flop or song was a flop. Shreya was lucky to have her first film with all the super duper songs.

You get the first ball, and you are expected to hit it for a six 😆 . If you play it defensively or take a single, than you will get the second ball in a year or two and that also if you are lucky enough. The struggle can be grim.

You have reality shows to remain in limelight or stage shows to make some bucks. Becoming an anchor ensures you are in the lime light and you can show your talent which you may have missed showing earlier but may not ensure any great chances to be singing in bollywood movies. Himani and Abhas got a chance to anchor programs on National TV but still did not hear them making any inroads into bollywood films.

You get the lime light at an electric speed by singing in these contests but it is a snail's pace for singing in movies

abhijeet and vinit for sure....vinit in my opinion is already a playback singer... he has sung so many songs in movies....jus my thought...i think nobody else in the show has done so much playback in movies than vinit..
