Vishal -Shekar compositions

Champions have to be extra careful when they r singing VS compositions becos

1. they know the song like the back of their hand

2. They love it like their baby

Anyone messing with the lyrics or the original composition annoys them.

Proof is abhijeet with Falak Tak, Toshi with Dil Haara and Tu Jahaan ...but they were pleased with Harshit in Dasstaan-OSO becos he stuck with the original....

When u mess up with others composition they dont mind , infact they comment that u sang better than original or something like that...Toshi sang O re piya with variation and they liked it but had it been their composition they would had got mad at him...

even if the lyrics r messed up like Harshit in Rock n Roll and Rahul in Maa, it is not even mentioned...

So my warning to champions stay safe and dont sing VS compositions !!!

that is true to an extent but I agree with the judges Abhijeet didn't sing Falak Tak well.

That is true... and it's pretty unfair, in my opinion. A contestant shouldn't be judged more stringently just because the judges happen to be the composers of the song he/she chose to sing. In fact they should be open to various interpretations of their own songs, as they can learn something from them and thus grow musically.

I agree with u. But i also think all of the singers whom you mentioned above were bad with those songs. i don't think any music director wants to see their music being spoilt. Can't really blame them.

^yup i agree...u really cant blame them...yess they 'll really have to sing their songs carefully...lol..i got really scared whn they told off abhijeet bout 4getting the lyrics of falak tak..specially shekhar..neva seen him lyk tht b4... 😆 😊

variations r good when u r doing certain harkate in the song ...but variations in lyrics ???..now that is little bit too much sp for the composer to digest 😆

I agree...but then the rule also should be the same for all right...Abhijeet got so much scolding for messing the lyrics whereas in the same episode Harshit walked away without it even being mentioned...i hope u know that Harshit also messed the lyrice in 'Rock n Roll'...my point here is that if Abhi was not singing VS composition, he would have got away with atleast the lyrics mistake he made ....

rule of the thumb is be safe and don't sing their song... 😆 😆
