sharp singing

shekar said praju sang sharp. i am not so well versed wid music. can some1 tell wht tht means

It was just an excuse to not give her good points. The judges are not doing justice to some singers. Their bias is too strong.

it can mean two different things. it can mean that her voice sounded sharp to the ears. but he actually means that she was singing higher in pitch than she was supposed to. sharp means too high in pitch, flat means too low in pitch. and someone can be even the slightest bit sharp or flat, but the trained ear will easily be able to notice.

but even shaan agreed he was sharp rgt. somehow her song was not appealing enuf 2day. i have a bad feeling she wil be eliminated next week. hope she stays on.

hmm...i also felt it was sharp...

I felt she was singing some lines sharply.

She was ok.

Today Debo was the best and second Vineet.

Even Shaan said he was impressed by vinit and he came all the way to stage when he was singing in a different style the same song. Today he sang the song with some maturity. When a song needs one he will change his voice like for "Dil Hara" and when it needs in between he will sing accordingly.

Guys Vinit is talented but too bad he isn't getting enough votes.

Overall I feel

1) Abhijeet
2) Vinit
3) Debojit

But ofcourse this is my opinion.

I dont exactly know what sharp means but when i heard her singing i didnt like it...it wasnt what i expected..the song hey shona is very sweet i think her pitch wasnt right thats it

dont know much abt musik...but didnt shaan say if prajakta was sharp then i was 2...n since he started the song prajakta wud have 2 pick up the song on the same scale wudnt she???...so i guess it sounded fine when shaan was singin but in her voice it sounded sharp...dont male & female singers have diff pitches which suit em n usually a middle scale is taken...jmo
but ya she does need 2 improve if she has 2 stay on...wud luv 2 c her till the end but not if her perf dont improve...she is at the mo one of the weaker ones....can do much much better...
