Proved beyond doubt Vinit has detiorated

Till now I was not commenting much on him as I felt maybe the fellow will improve and show his power soon. But repeatedly he went on failing. And today he was given a Sonu Nigam song. Songs of Sonu is considered to be his main strong point. During C-2005 he went on giving good performances just by singing Sonu songs.

And today Vinit failed miserably in that songs too. You can say this was one genre where he had the advantage but sorry to say, his singing has deteriorated so much that he finally failed even here. Its proved beyond doubt that after C-2005 of all the contestants atleast Vinit is not the one who has improved in any quarters - Neither his attitude and now its proved not even his singing.

Vineet was the best and will remain to be so. If people can rise above their superficial attitude they will realise that cracking in one of the songs or forgetting lines has very little to do with good singing. To be able to truly appreciate the growing maturity in his songs one needs to listen to his song with open ears and no bias. Before he used to sing the songs exactly the way they were, Now he adds his own sargams and constantly challenges himself. He has not yet sung a song that has earned him praise in SRGMP 05 in this show (unlike most others.)He is a brave singer and as far I as I can judge him as a singer, his fans have every right to be proud of him and wil continue to.
And please, try to open posts that encourages your favorite and not bash other's favs.

i kind of agree..he really wasnt good today..

n same goes for toshi too..he was BAD today..what the hell was he singing..major disappointment!

Would my opinion be considered unbiased considering I never had a chance to watch SRGMP 05?

Vineet didn't sound good today, that's a fact. I do think he's got some singing talent but his voice has never impressed me much; don't find it pleasing at all, though there are times when his singing makes up for it..But today he was truly disappointing..

Maybe "today" he was disappointing. So? He 's got the most amount of singing talent in this show.

You are entitled to ur own opinions.

All I am saying is that refrain from bashing other people fav's. It's so frustrating. You might not find his singing pleasant, but I happen to.

And @anshulnshrey.....why do you consider forgetting lyrics even in one song a minor mistake? Even Sonu Nigam says that it is a crime to forget lyrics on stage. These people get 4-5 days to prepare ONE song. Vineet, after doing so many shows, can't remember lyrics....I really don't know what to say about his caliber as stage performer 😕 .....

Well, I have watched him perform him live and guess what, I know a whole lot about his calibre as a stage performer. He is brilliant. 😊
