The happenings of these past few weeks of the show, clearly show a distinct lack of concept or direction.

They are coming up with gimmicks to prolong the show, by having wild card entries (which has now become a regular feature in all the reality shows) but always working towards a seemingly pre-conceived winner.

1. Initially they had a singer being eliminated from the champions side but none from the challengers side, and they thought the challengers had an undue advantage not facing elimination and suddenly decided to have a challenger and a champion eliminated. This situation was something that they could have visualized before...and shows they had absolutely no direction when they decided to start this show.

2. Then they had a wild-card entry and brought in two very good singers Rex and Amey but they never got a chance to make it to the champions side even though they were good..'cos of the format. They had just 2 episodes to prove their worth and I guess we can't complain too much about it as Rex and Amey also knew the score beforehand...but yes, because of alleged manipulations by singers in champions side and challengers side, deserving singers never made it/or made it late to the champions side.

3. Then judge Farah, openly criticized Himani over and over again about her alleged manipulation.... that even though Himani is a very good singer and deserved to be in the champions side much earlier, her stay in the show was limited and exit was guaranteed, thanks to Farah's manipulation. At the end of the day, it was a mind game that Farah played that ensured the Himani would be thrown out, since she planted a seed of doubt about Himani's credibility in the voters mind.

4. They then played the wild-card format for all those champions that exited from the show, but forgot to include Aishwarya! The same Aishwarya was heaped praises galore from all the judges and he was conveniently left out...whereas Prajakta, who is no doubt a very good singer was a given a chance time and again to stay in the show...no matter how her performance was, whereas others never even got a chance!

All these points out to the fact that when they began the show, the concept and handling was not researched into or thought out, but they already had some fixed ideas about who the finalists should be and everybody is playing out towards that end...

The unfortunate ones who suffer is music, the singers (Aishwarya, Himani, Amey, Rex, Toshi to name a few), who are talented and deserve a chance, but are made scapegoats in the fight for channel supremacy and viewership.

Agree with that completely...there was no need for wild card entry...they got out for a reason..

The show lost what little credibility it had when Aishwarya was eliminated. I mean, c'mon. He had a judges' score of 28 to Ishmeet's 22, and yet Ishmeet wasn't even in the bottom 3 for that week! Just how is the 50% weight to judges' scores supposed to work? (Answer: even the producers don't know, because it doesn't really matter anyway.) And, of course, they don't invite Aishwarya back for a wild card chance either.

Next, consider Harshit, who has been in the B3 twice, BOTH times after having scored a perfect 30(!!) -- and yet, in the week between those two times, he had a bottom score of 24 but was NOT in the B3! Huh?!

Week after week, the Bottom 3 has made no sense, except perhaps for cheap drama (such as scripting Amit Sana's "rematch" comment about Rahul). The script writing here has been bad even by Bollywood standards. But it's clear that they'll spin this out as long as they can; the phone companies need the money, I guess. Seeing the cheap drama week after week, it's becoming pretty clear who the "finalists" were always meant to be.

thats wots so buggin abt the show...the lack of a clr format...they have got in gud singers but keep changin the rules in the middle...
the 1st change i was happy wid where there ere eliminations frm the champs n challengers coz it was fair...
then the wc..1 wild card is acceptable in all reality shows now but they have 2 n the 1st wc the unfortunate singers get not enuff chances 2 make it 2 the champs side...in the 2nd one they 4get 2 call one of the best singers (aishwarya)... added 2 all this is the drama...each week a new one ...n the bottom 3 dont make sense most of the tyms
so the bottom lyn...watch n c - aage aage hota hai kya

just hope v get 2 c a desrvin winner this tym round

Well, I really don't agree completely...because it hasn't lost it's direction...I read it's terms and conditions from their official website...which also included the rules and regulations of the show...it was clearly written there about the wild card entry of two new singer in that specific week and also about the wild card entry of the eliminated singer on the last week of challengers...the only changed part is elimination from challenger's side...that was not a part of it's pre-conception..otherwise it's going exactly in the direction that is written from beginning of the show...

yes, Farah Khan's comments and all those things are different...but again it's the audience votes which create the difference I think...and judges votes are only helping to stop too much injustifications which happened so many times in so many shows!!! So I really don't blame the show...but yes, I think the judges can do a better job than this...

i also don agree with whole allegations.
i don think Farah has any personal prb with Himani.
as we saw on previous shows gals always got less votes...it was quite obvious that Himani will be out. and now it prajakta's turn..i think so.

Amey was really good, his elimination was really sad.But i don find Rex too good in this show.

However.there are still deserving singers in the show.
and i wish all the luck for them.
