Its not surprising that people who didn't follow FG don't like Rupu much....but in the initial days, Rupu wasn't popular...later when we understood her....we were completely taken over by her sweet nature...

Did any one notice that as a singer she is much better now....her problem of breath control is now over and she sings with confidence now 😃

I didn't follow FG so I don't know much about her. Her "attitude" is probably just for television. For some reason, her "Barso Re" performance didn't impress me as much as it did for everyone else 😕 Maybe it's just me, I don't know. I'm not saying she did horrible though, she performed well. She has a good voice. It just seemed that there was something missing from that performance.

I liked her very much from FG days.........she has been outspoken always.....she stood up against Arpita who had much attitude problem...She was the favorite student of all the gurus in the gurukul and won the best student award consecutive three weeks......she has very sweet voice..........she was the fav of all the judges too...Javed Akhter used to praise her singing all the time....even the judges and the gurus was surpirised to see her honesty and courage when she saved her most rival contestant Aprita from danger zone knowing she could be her biggest threat in near future.

There is no doubt that only Rooprekha, Aishwariya, Ishmeet and Prajakta among the champions are still practicing music everyday and have taken music seriusly in their career.

All other contestants have gone carried away with their stage shows and fame......with their attitude and so called "performance"..........their singing prooved that on that day.....

^ ^Yeah, I wasn't quite as impressed with her 'Barso re' as the judges were. She was okay, but needs to work on her breath control. Also, maybe I wasn't that amazed by her rendition because I've heard a much better rendition of this song on the show preeceding this one (chhote ustaad), which was sung by a much younger girl.

Yeah, that's probably why I wasn't that impressed either. IMO, certain contestants from Chhote Ustaad who are much younger have raised the bar for these musical reality shows.

Those girls from CU are already at a professional level. I definately agree that standards have been raised after watching their awesome performances, unfortunately these standards aren't being met in any other reality show yet. I already miss CU...

You are right , i fully agree with you. She said she was nervous as last time she gor scolding from Vishal i suppose i did not see that episode and her confidence is little low. But considering it as a very difficult song it was ok. Neither very good nor bad just good. It was not bad as such. She will come around. it is only second round and first round she went wrong. SHE IS A VERY GOOD SINGE NO DOUBTS. SWEET VOICE ETC. AND HAS AMPLE KNOLWEDGE SINCE SHE LEARNT CLASSICAL. NOW SHE NEEDS TO BRING IT TO HER THROAT AND WHICH SHE IS DOING
