Wow Sreeram!

Hi everyone. I was really moved by Sreeram's performance today so i decided to post my views here. I think everyone sang with plenty of soul in today's show as the subject of God is close to their hearts. I'm not criticising anyone for singing devotional songs from their own faith, please don't misunderstand. 😊 But it made me pretty happy to hear Sreeram's performance of an Islamic song. Those of you who have followed his singing since Indian Idol also know he gave a moving performance of Khwaja Mere Khwaja on that show. Again, i am not putting others down but his performance was not only sung very well but was a nice example of how music has no boundaries. Of course, playback singers sing for all religions and sing in all languages but this is a little different.

Sreeram has been really undersold in this competition. But it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. And I think Sreeram's choice of song was due to his worship of Rehman also😉

Also, think it was awesome how he ended the song with those Urdu lines. Simply stunning.

Truly a really moving performance! I loved the end, it really showed that devotion and faith really have no and should have no restrictions. No matter who you worship, as long as your devotion is true and perform devotion with your heart, everything is justified! I was mesmerized by Sreeram! HATS OFF!
