Sahara One seems to be on road to a major revamp!! With their existing shows Ghar Aaja Pardesi and Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna due to air their last episodes tonight (7 June 2013), the axe now hangs on the Rajshri Productions' show Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga.
A source tells that the show had been faring badly during the IPL phase. Hence in a channel meeting that took place post the IPL, the makers were asked to pull up their socks.
If sources are to be believed, the Producers have been asked to better numbers in a month's time. And if they fail to do so, the soap might be the next one to be taken off.
Another source went to add, "Jhilmil is the most expensive show on Sahara One and the channel expects it to get better numbers. At the moment the show rates at 0.2 TVR."
Aamir Ali better known as Saumya and Rakesh Paul aka Pratap, remained clueless about the development.
Sharad Raj, Programming Head, Sahara One denied the development and said, "We have a very good relationship with Rajshri and this is just not true."
