Exactly....he was attracted to Jhanak from the get go....why else would they be eyelocking from that first moment when he pulled her away from the truck on the road? ....and both of them getting awkward after their eyelocks made it obvious ki subconscious awareness tha of the attraction but neither wanted to acknowledge it

But yes, the initial phase of the story definitely focused more on the emotional connection than explicitly showing the physical attraction....that was suddenly dialed up with Ani's birthday scenes.

LOL yeh bhi toh convenience se shift hota hai, Rekha ji....sometimes Jhannu ka Amar Prem hota hai jo PAANE pe dependent nahin hai.....but sometimes Didi aur Sirji ka baccha becomes DHOKEBAAZI ki nishaani.....then same baccha suddenly becomes dearest to Jhanak so that she alone is shown fighting hardest to prove it alive and repeat on loop ki Sirji and Didi ka baccha usko kitna pyara tha, how much she was fantasizing about playing with it

I have to say Ani's expressions in the scene when Jhanak was going on and on giving her emotional speech about how much she cared for that baccha, how much she is feeling Sirji ka dukh about pita banne waale the blah blah.....that dead exhausted/blank expression on Ani's face there was unintentional comedy

How earlier epis he used to lie & lie for Jhanak now he’s lying so that Jhanak can stay front of his eyes nothing changed … his all behaviour reminds me of old epis

Oh come on, if he was more cunning than Srishti/Arshi toh kya is haalat mein hota ki uska rape hoke baccha bhi ho jaata? ....KAASH woh itna cunning hota jitna aap log imagine karte ho uske baare mein

Baaki all he manages to do is use some gol mol excuses to make Jhanak stay.....itni cunning toh lagaani padegi Jhanak jaisi tedhi kheer se deal karne ko.....cuz woh direct emotions and pleas ko toh value deti nahin hai and PERSONAL BAATEIN nahin karni bolke shut down kar deti hai
