Lots to write on that scene… but drained emotionally to write it as the butchering of characterisation all around has been relentless.

Chandni needs to go to a voice coach urgently. She does not get that raising voice doesn’t mean shouting - get the difference

Krushal was also raising his voice and at decibel probably even higher than Chandni but he had extreme control over the projection of the voice.

Anyways nothing much to write on the BH drama -

Chandni definitely needs a voice coach. Such a karkasha voice she had . Seedha kaano main chubhti hai . She already know iske sare scenes ab aise hi hai toh atleast work on it. Kaam hai tumhara lol.

On the other hand, I am kind of sad and happy they made Arshi insecure and selfish early on unlike Malini. Leena is smart as she knew Imlie type story won't fly again as well as it did that time.

And also, as much as I love Chotton-Ani Dynamic, I feel something is lacking in that conversation. It is edited since it is a promo, will watch the full convo before making an assumption.

While it’s a precap and edited… what I don’t get is the need for Arshi eavesdropping into the convo? Any acts of hers haven’t really needed any impetus….

it isn’t as if there was a sudden sense of betrayal and she acting upon that sense of betrayal ( irrespective of any justification for such action) … the narrative has never indicated that at any stage including the time when Ani made an effort to move on with the relationship post Aag.
Arshi has seen the relationship grow in front of her. She was in the know but at different stages, the narrative has shown her either her acting as it’s nothing - just water off her back.. and at other times, agitated and ordering Ani about things, in the thick of planning, plotting though Leena tried also to portray as if it’s not a conscious thing but as if she is led to it.. but the point I am making is the existence of Jhanak in their relationship isn’t a new information that she is contending with. Ani was shown admitting that Jhanak wasn’t lying about the intimacy… Ani has always run to Jhanak and he has made his feelings for Jhanak very apparent.

So this “ tum mere piche kyun pade ho? Mujhse kya chatter ho? All that screaming- I don’t know what purpose it was to serve in the narrative especially now? She will not leave him yeh pakka hai. Leena parachuting her as some person against whom atyachar is happening isn’t washing at all…I never read her as insecure..her actions weren’t out of insecurity but more like How dare she usurp what belongs to me?

I just read her as stupid most of the times, especially when she was ordering Ani around but he was giving goli to her.. but then ofc that was at the stage Ani was conflicted … since Aag… I never understood why she did not take up Ani on that offer… expediency there too - If one says I am leaving other had to say please stay 😂😂😂

R a logically her eavsdropping should have only one implication...preventing Runak marriage plans by plotting fake pregnancy...otherwise no point of this scene...but again....I said logically...and logic and the show have a spurious correlation 🤣🤣
