Haan...to some extent it is to keep Arshi zabardasti in between Runak..

..baki as per his monologue, he is feeling bad for Arshi, may be due to him misbehaving with her and putting accusations of J's murder on her...we have been shown that Ani is an empathetic person...so his empathy is actually taking a toll on him..

..he just wants to avoid love, s*x and bachha topics.. that's why he replied Haan karta hun to Arshi's love query and also asked for time when Arshi again put up the topic of bachha...clearly, he is no more interested in tamasha...but obviously this is not a permanent way out from this mess..soon he has to face the consequences of his decision of asking Arshi to stay..

@bold: LOL in simple words, this is just another round of Ani's struggle between what he thinks is "practical" and what he is actually able to do.....it is the "practical" thing to try to move on in life after losing a loved one who can never come back now....so that is what Ani TALKS about ki ok yeah I want Arshi to stay, I don't want to lose the person who is in front of me....yeah give me some time, I will normalize and fix everything blah blah.....he is a person who feels that sense of responsibility to normalize himself cuz it's EXPECTED of him.

But this bumps into the truth of his heart which refuses to let him act on these claims....that is why no matter what he says, his actions show he is not being able to go back to Arshi even if he thinks that is the practical choice since he feels bad for her ya jo bhi....he knows he doesn't love her but still he is giving her these words cuz again he is operating from the thought process of I guess this is needed to normalize.....lol but he isn't acting on normalizing anything beyond that cuz usse HO hi nahin raha....lol

Remember how much he cried in the HA track ki mujhse nahin ho paaya, Jhanak? This is another round of that only.....he is trying out of a feeling of obligation but he is again unable to act on these claims he's making

LOL and this reminds me....Arshi will again walk off scot free as if she wasn't fully aware that her mom plotted with Tejas to do something to Jhanak....now she gets to act innocent since Srishti didn't get caught for trying to kill Jhanak.

And Jhanak Rani baap ke badle mein itna busy hai that she has no interest in getting her own murder attempt addressed

But then, sending flowers to Newton in secret, and the weird way he looks at Arshi with so much anger/hatred sometimes and his dialogues and looks he gives to srishti and Arshi...

All of these are just lollipops by Leena Maata or what?

And another thing is everyone is doing something or other regarding Jhanak/Newton and Srishti issue... Even Lallon is doing something...

Actually this ties in perfectly with one of Ani’s basic traits… choosing the path of least resistance

It is the first thing I observed about him and was intrigued about 😂😂

Haha yes, this totally ties in with your path of least resistance theory about Ani....he is yet again doing the same thing that he has suffered for before....no lessons learnt...he will still keep doing this on a loop cuz he will always get cowed down by the evil log around him whenever Jhanak leaves him

LOL yeh toh pehle bhi ho chuka hai.....Ani is the one who got Jhanak's whole career going with the cultural dance fest in Kolkata, those ads he got her etc....but then other people took over down the line and everyone including Jhanak forgot that she owed all this to Ani

And yes, yeh parentage issue bhi bahut pehle outsource kar diya from Ani when he was shown telling Rudra, who then told AK....lol tabse hi it no longer become Ani's solo issue to manage and now Leena has flipped the whole backstory only so Ani ko aur sideline kar diya is matter mein.....the excuse now is that he is too debilitated without Jhanak to bother resolving these issues while the others are still more driven than him since they are not as affected by Jhanak's loss

And another thing I want to add is, I'm willing to accept this Ani you described, honestly, with some disappointment, IF they give me a good RuNak track...

Because what you said is a very logical and reasonable scenario...

For most MLs this justification is enough to accept for their viewers but I feel for Anirudh there's always high expectations which Leena Aunty isn't delivering at all...

Par kya kare Dil maange more and dil toh baccha he ji type situation me hun...

I toh stopped giving them TRP, not watching it on channel...

And my Hotstar subscription is there till Nov'30...

If nothing gets better, Tata Tata Bye Bye to this show for me...💔

Yeah that time he was willingly handing over to Rudra because he himself wanted to move on and now, I guess, his brain is not working at all because he believes Jhanak doesn't exist in this world...

Sad state of affairs...

I still stick to my thought that Mumbai track is THE SEPERATION track that every love story does before uniting their leads... When I watched those epis, I took it as a standard trope to give character growth to leads in the future. Whether it's done in a justified manner or not is as usual up for debate...

But this, I don't know what this is.... One thing I can say is HIGHLY UNNECESSARY... Especially if it's a repeat of Mumbai track...😓
