Somebody on this forum had mentioned that the whole Cutie thing was probably scripted too. This "unknown" celebrity had suddenly come and was better or at least on the same level as Salman. So of course they had to give him extra camera time and the best thing they could come up with was Cutie. I hate the way Rangeela makes the contestants so one dimensional at times. Salman was the jealous one who never wore a shirt, Karishma was the really tall one, Shakti was the one who was always in the risk zone and of course Shantanu is only cute.

Jacqueline genuinely felt that Shan was super cute! No body however expected that cutie fever to catch up like that!

Cutie ! Cutie was like Jhalak Anthem.

Colors in my opinion genuinely underestimated Shan and his popularity. Salman was not going to win. He very cleverly played his 'Last Jhalak' card and I was certain he was going to be in final 2.

I believe it was a creative decision to make a wildcard win this year!

That's why we had the whole drama of Teriya being called a 'Superwoman'.

His 'Baby ko bass pasand hai' performance turned me into a fan. Not only is he a fantastic dancer , he is also a brilliant human being who doesn't take his popularity too seriously.

I just hope his future projects have him doing something other than youth shows.

teriya is a fraud... shan was clear winner.

I was certain Shantanu would win. It came down to him Vs Salman. And due to Jhalak's own biasness and hero worship of Salman I thought they would not make him win to face the wrath of general audience like last time. Second is a very respectable position and they made the marks that way. Salman got a perfect score and Shantanu/Teriya equal. So Salman irrespective of what votes the other two will get gets the position. And in terms of Jhalak popularity or in general popularity Shantanu is miles ahead of Teriya. I personally find it fishy how Teriya was a wildcard who was brought back so much so she became a finalist. There were other WCs too. I think Jhalak wanted to weigh in on a Wildcard this year. Going out of the norm. That wildcards can be winners too. Like last year they did with a professional dancer. Faisal was a good balance of skills and popularity. Which was Shantanu this time. And in comparison to that Teriya does fare low. I told my friends Teriya won and everyone is like who? There's lots that goes with how the votes are done too. But overall Teriya's win comes across as an unfair one. I can't believe I'm saying this but even Salman makes a better winner than her. She has barely given 5-6 performances whereas the other two finalist have worked relentlessly for 6 months. That's lot of disrespect towards artists much so to the format of the show which celebrates the journey of a contestant. Shantanu Maheshwari deserved this win by all means. Colors never thought Shantanu would be such a hit. In the start never gave him much limelight but he gained the focus through his brilliant performances. He earned every bit of this. And yet he didn't win. It's extremely sad.
