There is no doubt that Salman is good at what he does on Jhalak. Because he's been doing it for 5 years and that kind of experience as well as personal and professional bonding with the crew gives him an advantage over any dancer who has ever participated on the show. Like Karishma had pointed out, this is his home ground. Literally. He knows how everything works - how to play to the cameras, how to work with their angles, how to use the stage, how feasible certain ideas are to execute with the crew's capacity and production values, what buttons to push with the judges, how the rehearsals work and how to utilise them most fruitfully...and much more, I'm pretty sure. An entire episode was dedicated to him as a guest mentor last year, for heaven's sake. There have been dancers on the show before, and the bar for them has been set according to their capabilities too. But none of them have been as intimately familiar with the show, its format and its working as Salman is. And that is why, like Karishma and even Manish said once in jest, he would fit better in a judge's chair than a contestant's shoes. This is what I feel.

There is too much said about him having advantage but even Shantanu is a dancer and has his own team also. Even Nora is a dancer. Only thing he was associated with Jhalak for around 3 yrs but his choreographer is new. And contestants who r saying that he has been associated with Jhalak since 3 yrs should realize that their choreographers were also associated with Jhalak since so many yrs. Try taking advantage from your choreographer experience

Yes shantanu is a dancer but he's not in jhalak for freaking 5 years. They're participating for the first time. And salman knows everyone very well and he's like the favourite to rangeela. Everyone could see how they favour him like in last performance too his mistakes were not even noticed by the judges

They aren't giving 30 to salman coz if they give 30 it would be evident that they favour him. And his last performance didn't deserve 27 but they gave. Well it seems as if judges are more strict with shantanu than with salman. Karan said shan should watch out his finishes but there weren't any place where he didn't finish his steps. He did perfectly. If u watch it, u would know. But salman's mistakes was not noticed at all.

I agree with both. Salman and Shantanu are getting hard scores especially after good performances. Salman entry is also too hyped. I agree with Jcluvs that Salman was with Jhalak bcoz of talent. We have all seen his dance the past yrs so plz give him credit for his talent. He is good undoubtedly.

No you can't compare choreographers, for example Alisha had weak dancers everytime so she is not that experienced as Salman,who won and went further in the competition. Plus, dancing wise Yeah Shan is WOD champion, Nora is a dancer,Tanna/Shakti has dancing background they participated in Nach Baliye. But nobody is a long time choreographer

What i meant was the other contestants choreo can teach them and give an added advantage. Salman is part of game and due credit should be given to the fact that he has talent. Alisha may be not that familiar with jhalak but Shantanu was himself working for his team Desi Hoppers, so they also can use their combined strength.

I feel salman entry is too hyped. Even if he wins i feel credit should be given to the fact that he has talent which is my point. Also salman and shantanu deserve high scores for aayat and baby ko base song but that's history now

Why are you comparing choreographers with contestants to defend Salman? Choreographers do participate many times but contestants don't. Never have. Leave choreographer...he was a frigging mentor last time.

well, salman kyu jdj me contestant banke aya ya laya gaya i dnt knw. but i defo know its unfair. he hs experience & he won as choreo once. why does he want to participate as contestant i m still unable to understand. 😕 & dont tell me his choregrapher does d choreo fr him. its salman's choreo & dats visible. dats unfair too. yes participants can gv inputs abt choreo, but choreo-ing d whole act is downright unfair.

Yeah but they are here as choreos not as contestants choreos coming as contestants is a joke and that too when he is a part of jhalak for 5 years. Salman is talented no one is saying he's not but his participation as a contestant is unfair.

Exactly. It's so unfair and stupid lol. And no one is saying that Salman is not talented,I supported him during DID and yes he has talent. But as someone said earlier,he would fit better as a judge than a contestant. Like Lauren,remember. It's so ridiculous. And where are people comparing Shantanu with Salman lol? Please Shan is not a choreographer for Jhalak for years,you can't compare them. And for setting the bars high to motivate,is there a lack of good dancers that they decided to put Salman? Haha many ex DID contestants who turned actors want to be in Jhalak,so why let him participate when the makers already know that there will be a lot controversy?
