TOI:Ashish Chowdhry: I lost out because of poor harness coordination

Ashish Chowdhry, who won 'Khatron Ke Khiladi's' latest season, recently got eliminated from 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded'.

Though the actor maintains he was glad he could last through half the season, he reveals that it was because of mismatched harness coordination during his aerial act that he had to leave the show.
He says, "When I was performing the aerial act, one of the guys who was supposed to pull the harness slipped and so, they missed the take off timing. The show's format is such that a participant can't ask for a second chance."


The actor adds, "Ganesh (Hedge) master, who is transparent while marking the performances, also noticed the harness issue. Even Lauren (Gottlieb) went backstage and with the help of translators, fired those who handled the harness. I think it was a genuine mistake, and so, I didn't say much."

That is sad for him ... his act was good, but it did seem there were some harness issues. All the best to Ashish ... heard he got injured during the act, hope he recovers soon.

TFS. Posting this because this is related to the article above; Ashish's tweet regarding this article. Yes, he is injured. He just had his hand surgically reconstructed. As for the channel, it is sad that neither the responsibility of this mishap was taken nor any wishes of speedy recovery were uttered.

Gosh, it seems Ashish was quite badly hurt due to the mishap! And not one word of apology or explanation from Colors 😕

@Chahat4u, TFS and im not surprised. colors didn't show the incident fine but they didn't even take responsibility of the injury or the harm. pathetic to say the least.
